The first time I came the food was good but today it was horrible I got a turkey leg and it’s so tuff I got to take it home and cook it and the sauce is horrible it’s honey mustard and I got a brisket meal and it had literally 3 thin slices for $19.00 I asked her did she put barbecue sauce in my bag and she said yeah I’m so mad drove 30 minutes for this smdh never again

Ordered the tri-tip sandwich, mac n cheese and bbq pulled pork over potatoes. The pulled pork over potatoes was pretty good. I'd say 4 star. The mac n cheese 2 star. Just a clump of noodles with cheese. Pretty bland. The tritip sandwich... 1 star. tritip was tough, dry and overcooked. Very dry! The bbq sauce is excellent but I can't believe he'd serve such an overcooked piece of meat

OMG!! The best bbq we’ve ever had! Went in last week while on our way home from Jackson. I cant wait to go back. I ordered the tri tip sandwich and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich and a turkey leg. Phenomenal!!

Disappointing experience here, especially with all the positive reviews. Brisket was tough and pork ribs were way over cooked. Both meats were bland and the Mac & cheese was stale. All with a $30 price tag.

I had the tri-tip plate and it was very good. Even after going there a week ago I'm still thinking of this place and how good the food was. Whenever I'm in Rockford, I'm going back to this hidden gem of a lunch spot. I especially liked the baked beans that came with the tri-tip plate. The only bad thing was, they are located way out of the way . I'll go here again and I suggest you do as well. Kudo's to the lady who runs this place.

I've been here multiple times, and they never let me down! The staff are friendly, and the food is amazing? I had the ribs and turkey leg? I love their mac and cheese! Outdoor seating is very nice and they play soft jazz on the speakers. I definitely recommend stopping by and getting a plate of delicious BBQ food?

? ? ? ? As soon as I opened my box of food, I knew the folks knew what they were doing. Portions were generous. The attention to detail in every piece of food was championship. Brisket delicious..beans delicious with chunks of brisket..mac n cheese creamy delicious with a hard crust..corn muffins dense with chunks of corn and sweetness. Green beans have chunks of ham delicious. Tri tip Sammy ? key lime pie puts florida to shame. Awesome food, thank you guys!
You guys have no idea of how incredible this place is. The atmosphere is so great, the food is magnificent, the staff are so inviting and friendly. I brought my two size medium dogs and they even brought out a water bowl for my pups!!! 1000/10 service and food. If you want homemade BBQ that's made with love you have to come to Daddy's House of Ribs. Well worth 2 hour drive. They even gave my bff a free homemade dessert for her birthday, and it was soooo delicious! Thank you again for the kindness and hospitality.

Daddy's House of Ribs has a great value for good casual barbecue, but it can't compete with the larger barbeque spots more common in the South. They were unfortunately out of macaroni salad and rib tips when we went around 4pm on a weekend, but I'm glad those items were in high demand. The tri tip and brisket were tasty, and there was plenty included on the plates and sandwiches. The coleslaw was tasty but did make the sandwich bread a bit soggy. The ribs were a good size and value, but a little fatty for our liking. Some of our group liked the barbecue sauce while others wished there were a greater variety of sauces as their one wasn't spectacular. The mac and cheese was flavorful but needed creaminess. The potato salad was tasty but heavier on olives and pickles than potatoes. The cornbread had a great sweet flavor with real kernels inside. For less than $20 a plate, Daddy's House of Ribs satisfied us for a great price. However, the bbq sides were just average and the meats a little above average. This is a great roadside stop in the area (outdoor seating only) but I wouldn't travel just to visit.

It was my husbands birthday last Sunday and he LOVES ribs so I was searching for a local bbq joint that was near us. Originally, I had planned to take him to Tin Roof bbq but they were closed on Sundays and I found this place was open. He picked out his meal (forgot what he ordered) and when he picked it up and opened it he was surprised at the portions he got for the price. The ribs were huge and meaty and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. He said this place was a hole in the wall find and now he's going to recommend it to all his friends. A great find, you won't be disappointed!
