I've been coming here for the past few years. The price for a burrito increased two dollar but the size was still big. As of 10/31/23 the size of the burrito drastically got smaller. Order two burritos and a taco 24 bucks! Overpriced... burritos are Like the size of the chimichangas. I didn't mind the price increase due to inflation but common how the hell you gonna charge 12 bucks for a burrito size if a chimichangas? Sadly I would not be coming back. I guess I'll be going back to the one on valley and San Gabriel or king taco at least the size didn't get smaller and price increase. Duces la Dona!

3.75 rounded up to 4 Which taco truck reigns supreme on Las Tunas Boulevard? Tacos La Dona, the OG, and Super Tacos El Pastorcito Estilo DF, the challenger, battle for the title of best taco truck in SGV. Let's begin... A woman of breathtaking beauty gracefully navigates through the bustling crowds of Old Town Pasadena. Every day, she is showered with compliments and turns heads wherever she goes. Yet, today holds an eerie twist. Strangely, her phone remains silent, devoid of the usual flood of notifications. With each step she takes, an unsettling sensation creeps upon her, as if she has become invisible to the world around her. Gone are the admiring gazes and stolen glances that once adorned her path. It's as if her very presence has been erased from the perception of others. Crossing the busy intersection, a flicker of curiosity compels her to steal a glimpse of herself in a large store window. Abruptly, she freezes in disbelief. Amidst the hurried chaos of passersby, her reflection reveals a haunting revelation--a skeleton locked in a macabre stare. Tacos La Dona is like the woman above. As one of the first taco trucks in this area, she received a lot of attention and compliments. But time flows like a river and today the street taco game is much more competitive. The tacos are still good and market priced but the portions are 20% smaller than the competition. It is in a safe location with plenty of parking. I'll round up to 4 stars for all the epic late night taco runs. To find out the winner of best taco truck in the SGV, check out my review of Super Tacos El Pastorcito Estilo DF.

Updating this to a 5 star because I have found myself coming twice a week! This week was 3x. The al pastor burrito is just so good!

Latino reviewing this place. "Con todo" means you have to pack your own salsa and onions and cilantro and put it in yourself when you get home. They cater more to the San Gabriel demographic. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're not into overpriced burritos and dry tacos.

The three types of tacos we had were all delicious- our favorite was the calamari taco. Service is quick and friendly.

Pro: Carne asada is well seasoned and pretty soft. Con: Fries felt soggy and a bit greasy. The carne asada fries seemed basic. Just some cheese and a dollop of guacamole. I'm used to a little more, with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. Worst was the horchata. It tastes very fake, almost like plastic. Do not recommend! Bothersome: Why not have the whole menu in the front with the prices? I had to ask the register person and luckily she had one print out there so I could take a picture. The lack of transparency in prices is bothersome. I haven't tried anything else, so other plates might be good. Now that I know the prices, I might come back and try some other menu items. So far the food is a 3.5.

Would give this place ZERO stars we order 4 items came out to $40ish unbelievable for that price I could've dine at a restaurant 3 mulitas and 1 quesadilla 40 bucks!! Pay attentions to food trucks that do not list their prices, because they will charge any amount! I was hoping at least for that price it would be big portion and good!! Sad to say it was soooo bland not sure if they forgot salt or what but damn it was very tasteless. Also got food poisoning!

Note that this location is not a brick and mortar location - it is a food truck that’s parked here. That being said, it’s a super tasty and cheap option to have a quick meal. My friend and I came here prior to drinks at the Blind Barber, and ate our food in the car. If you do this, you may want to eat with the windows down since the smell is pretty strong. I got the loaded fries while my friend got the combo of tacos and a drink (no alcohol available. They have waters and sodas). The portions were generous and there was plenty of meat. The sauce was sufficiently spicy and the food came out quickly. Cash and credit cards accepted.

I have to drive 30 minutes to eat Tacos La Doña but it's worth it! I enjoy the potato, Al Pastor, and chicken tacos.

First time trying it out. Could have ordered a couple more to try different proteins. These 4 were solid. My son had his first street taco experience

God awful service. If the food wasn't alright I would have definitely gave this place a one star. I was really enjoying my night until I met the lady at the pickup window. Her attitude and face alone when you ask for one more packet of sauce completely ruined my appetite. She denied giving me the sauce and was giving me this disgusted stare, so I proceeded to just open my togo tacos right there and then and used the sauce they had laid out right next to the truck. I don't know what her problem was, but I hope she's alright.

Came back here because it used to be the go to spot for tacos and fire Mexican food in the San Gabriel Area. Ordered a carne asada fries, which was good. I also got a California burrito. When I cut it open when I got home, I was appalled to see that 90% of it was fries/potato. Heavily disappointed to see that the quality has drastically gone down, while the prices also have ballooned. For carne fries and a Cali burrito, I paid $27! Will not be coming back for a while after this upsetting meal.
