First time here since we were just passing through the area, but the enchilada and rice were great, and tortilla chips as well. Service was good, nice atmosphere, and restaurant was clean. Nothing to complain about, personally I really enjoyed the food, it was well suited to my tastes.

Chicken enchiladas with the special salsa verde are the best as is their salsa. I also love the chicken quesadilla.

The fries in the carne asada were almost raw, the salsa has no flavor, the marinara sauce was ice cold, the mozzarella sticks were almost raw also and two ppl in our party didn't get their food til much later. Honestly can't say much good about any of the food. The rice and beans were not good either. Only 1 person in our party or 7 really enjoyed the food. Service was okay. The best part about the restaurant was the music. There aren't any dishes I can really recommend.

The worst experience was related to billing - if you travel in business avoid this place. Hand written bill and then something printed with code names and credit card charged with different amounts. Most likely it is lack of focus but not very professional and food was just ok.

The food was just ok. We've been here many times in the past and loved it. We don't go often since we live in a nearby town. We decided to drive to Lodi to eat here. The service and food were mediocre. The quantity of food was way smaller than in the past. We each got a tiny scoop of beans and rice. We both got quesadillas that were lacking in cheese....I mean it was there but barely. I understand the cost of everything has increased and caused people to cut back but you can't take too much away or you lose customers. Sad sad sad.
We are visiting friends in the area and wanted some Mexican food so we thought we would try this place. We got 2 Nachos and 2 burritos togo. This was probably the most expensive Mexican food I had paid for in several years. The quality was good, but the 2 burritos were supposed to be wet style. When we go back to where we were staying, there was no sauce on the burritos. Our fault for not checking, but we expected to get what we paid for, so we called the restaurant and talked to a lady that worked there. She said that next time we came in they would give use the sauce. We decided to just eat the nachos and go back the next day for the sauce since we were really looking forward to it. When I went back to get the sauce, they were nice about it, but then the amount of sauce that they gave use seemed like half the amount of sauce that we would have got if we ate in the restaurant. So disappointing. we will not be going back here again. very frustrating experience.

I've tried all the top rated Mexican restaurants in Lodi and I don't like them. They don't have the flavors and taste that I grew up with but Angelo's hits home. It's the only Mexican restaurant I prefer to go to when I'm in the mood for enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos and beans and rice. Their margaritas are also pretty good.
In my opinion, it's the best Mexican food around. Don't forget the great margaritas.
