Guess I am on a roll...another five star experience/review for a craft coffee shop. Comal is near one of our Lodi properties and we have walked by many times. Last evening they were roasting and we stopped and chatted with the owner about coffee, brewing, beans, places where beans are grown, roasters, roasting and business in general. After seeing them roast their own beans I couldn't resist stopping by this AM for an Americano. And this morning on the way...we could smell the roaster a couple blocks away...nice, builds the anticipation. So if you like very good coffee this is a recommendation for Comal. They have what you need, Fresh roasted beans (this batch from Guatemala I think) a good machine that pulls a great espresso, friendly service and a great Americano. A good cup doesn't need sweetener or dairy and mine certainly didn't today. So to sum up, above average coffee, great service and the satisfaction of supporting another local small family-run business. As my grand boys say...two big thumbs up!

I came here for the first time a few days ago. Tried their boba drinks and loved the Mermaid. Bought some for my kids and they loved it too! Next time I will try their coffee. Owner said their coffee beans are from Guatemala. Owner was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We got a Chai Latte with Horchata and Espresso and regular iced coffee. Very delicious and the owners are lovely! Will be coming back to try more as well as their other stand Comal Fresh!

Best small business and delicious coffee around. The family who owns it makes each cup with care and are always friendly and interested in your day! Beautiful people! Tried for the first time today and it was soooo good! I had the mango espresso, which was different but so delicious. My son got the dragon fruit lemonade and both of us loved it. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

Saying the coffee here is good is an understatement. The service and coffee here is phenomenal!. There are very few coffee shop gems in the area and this place clearly earned a spot on that list. Don’t just take my word for it, go and see for yourselves.

Highly recommend this coffee shop. The owner is just amazingly friendly and the coffee is just delicious they offer different types of coffee creations and refreshers and pastries. If you like your coffee sweet or less sweet just ask her and she will make it perfect for you. They even sell their coffee beans so you can make your delicious coffee at home. You won't regret it, go and try them out.
