No longer one of my favorite places to eat at. In the 90's I looked forward to going to El Pollo Loco, now I begrudgingly go there. Just not as good as when they first started. Helpings are about half the size and the cost has increased. :(

Does management care at all to improve the customer service or food quality!? It's super important that the workers working drive through REPEAT orders back for accuracy!!! I ordered the grande avocado bowl with corn and asked for no salsa fresco and a large chip. What I got was, a corn bowl, with no chips. I explained the order was wrong. I never requested a street corn. She had an attitude as if I made the mistake. I get my order and what do I find, SALSA FRESCA and stale, day old chips!! What the heck guys, why even work somewhere when you can care less and even more so, why do I keep on giving you guys another chance!??? Never ever returning!!

Pulled up at 9:02, no answer after a few minutes from the drive-through intercom. Pulled up to the window and waited until someone came. She rudely looked at me as if I was bothering her and I had told her that I pulled up since no one was taking orders. Instead of apologizing etc. she looks at me as if I’m bothering her and says, what do you want to order!? Umm okkk! I then said, well I only went to order if you guys are opened. She again rudely said, what do you want to order!? Again, this tone, mannerism, etc is so uncalled for. I came to order food and go about my day. Not be met with someone who is clearly unhappy. I choose to spend my $ at this establishment and all I ask for is common courtesy. The employees are is Dhalia!

Love Pollo loco this place is always great sometimes they miss to put my full order living 25 min away it's irritating but I still go because it's always good the workers are nice. Only reason why I put 4 stars it's because it has gotten pricy.

The corn street chicken bowl was good but they didn't add the dressing & I noticed that when I got home. Ordered it to go. Someone didn't add the dressing ?.
Was a little disappointed in the quality. It was my first time there and people had talked it up a lot.

Cashier Rosa R at the Lodi site is an exceptional employee. I eat there often and my food has never been messed up with her taking my order, and she is always in a great mood. Her kindness and hospitality rubs off as I wasn't having the greatest day until our encounter! 10/10 service! 10/10 carnitas tacos!
It is fast food so the atmosphere locked a bit, but the food and service was excellent.

I don't know why I even bother coming here. It's always a disappointment. Yesterday I ordered the Queso Blanco burrito, and had them hold the pico and guac. Somehow a $10+ burrito from EPL should be some sort of upgrade from their budget menu, but they basically gave me a Classic Chicken Burrito. Same quality chicken as the Classic, which is pretty low quality, and very little of it in there. It was mostly rice with maybe a total of five beans, and just enough cheese at either end of the burrito to let you know it's there. They did ask me if I wanted salsa and what kind, which was refreshing. They've always just given me whatever they felt like. But then they gave me three of them. It's one burrito, I'm not even going to use one full container. Why do restaurants waste so much? And a utensil packet? You're supposed to ask if I need them in the first place, not just give it to me. If you want an all rice burrito with low quality chicken, at least go to a local taco truck. All the local places put rice in their burritos. I never saw that before moving here, I always thought it was these cheap chains that only did that.

The only complaint is... the chicken is overcooked and dry. Otherwise, it's a great place to have a fast meal.
