This my favorite Mexican Restaurant. T every dish is made so flavorful and delicious. The servers pay attention to details and check back with you often. You can tell they want to please and provide great service. The restaurant is interesting with a giant hot pepper suspended from the ceiling. If you like hot salsa or taco sauces they have a large collection of hot pepper sauces for sale.

This was my second visit, so I must've really liked it to return. I will be returning again next month.
Ambience of the restaurant was super nice and rustic. Gave me an old fashioned Cancun vibe. Service was nothing out of the ordinary, but did get food within 20 minutes of being seated. I got the steak quesadilla, which had very good flavor, but a little too much cheese. The rice and beans lacked some flavor, but overall a good, fulfilling meal. Large portion sizes

This is an easy 5 star for the locals, 2 stars for Mexican food lovers, 3 stars for Yelpers (and TexMex lovers). It's generally a good place. Full bar, lots of seating, good chips and salsa - could be a great time. Food wise, they put a dollop of sour cream on the enchiladas and the beef enchilada is with ground beef. And I'll leave it at that.

Visited here for dinner with family. Really liked the decor of the restaurant. On the house Chips and salsa were great, in fact they also had spicy salsa on request. We ordered Guacamole, three cheese queso dip, Chicken and Veggie Fajitas and Enchiladas. Of course we started with a extra large pitcher of Mango Margaritas. Service was great, food was really tasty and excellent. We had a great experience dining here. Update #3It's back! Now without hesitation when I want good Mexican food this is my spot.Update #2:Family decided to give it another try. This time the chips were on the verge of being stale, great salsa and the food was as I remember it being before the fire and restoration. Glad to see it coming together, hope the improvement continues. I will be back, hopefully they get the chip issue solved?Update: Stale chips but good salsa and stale taco shells but good shredded beef, left over half my food, I won't be back anytime soon after this, paid $80.00 for food I couldn't eat, was obviously old or had been sitting out most of the day. Took my wife for dinner, they sat us in the middle of the restaurant smack dab in the middle of 2 large parties. I should have insisted on a different table but we made do until it took way too long for the waiter to take our order and then to be served stale old chips. I thought it would end with the stale chips but then came the stale taco shells, there won't be a next time as there are many other good Mexican restaurants that serve quality food.Old review: One of my favorites, I am a regular here.
Eating food out of a can would've been the same if not better experience than we had here! from the 10 minutes it took to seat us in an empty restaurant, to the 20 minutes to be asked about drinks. this definitely isn't a good or fast restaurant. all burritos came wet and more like enchiladas. my friends tasted "like a $1 stew with a tortilla on top" and mine was inedible. it tastes like pizza sauce was used to drown it! definitely an unauthentic experience

Holy large portions!! Great place if you have a large appetite. This is something I wish I knew before we all ordered our own food instead of sharing. Not a bad thing but I just don't like to waste good food. Service was good, and got seated fairly quickly even though it was pretty busy. The ambiance is great lots of things to look at on the walls and cool stuff hanging from the ceiling to keep you occupied while you wait for your food.

A diamond in the rough. A very good concept. The food was very good. The service was better. No complaints at all. Next time I am in Lodi, I will be back.Kid-friendliness: They served the kids first. I wish more restaurants would. That keeps the kids from getting upset.
