An asian couple walks into a tasting room.....and the rest is history. My wife had planned for wine tasting at Harney Lane and this was our first visit to a winery in Lodi. We had high hopes and expectations but boy were we wrong. Our experience was pretty much standing at the counter for about 15 minutes waiting to be served while countless others (who came after us) were greeted immediately and helped. There was a server who did not attempt or initiate eye contact with us, but served folks who were right next to us. She was an older lady with glasses. What kind of customer service is this??We quickly realized that we were definitely the minorities in the room. The service was plain rude, unprofessional, and pretty dang racist in my opinion. So much for a weekend in Lodi, most especially Harney Lane.Never freakin again! To Harney Lane Management: retrain your servers on the importance of customer service, hospitality, and equality. Just because we don't like like everyone else does not mean we should get treated differently!Took our business elsewhere where customers were treated kindly and fairly.

I use to belong to about 20 wine clubs the last couple years I've dropped them all but this one. First and what's most important in a winery is great wine. Next the staff is awesome. The ambience is great. Not as opulent as some of the Sonoma/Napa/ Paso Robles tasting rooms but beautiful grounds to enjoy a fabulous glass of their wine. But top of my list is the Family , my beautiful friend Kathy the matriarch, her daughter Jorja, and always smiling son-in law Kyle make you feel like you are part of their family. Even when medical issues made me quit drinking wine for a while I kept my membership and gifted wine to friends. This will always be a keeper for me.

We came here after attending the wine club party at another winery that we are members of. We had to pick up my husband's friend's wines for her. So we decided to do a little wine tasting so we can try out their wines. It is on Harney Lane....how convenient lol It's a very nice winery with lots of places to sit and enjoy the outdoor scenery. Absolutely beautiful estate. It's perfect place to chill with a group setting. They have very good wines. Good enough for us to buy one of their best wines. They also offer cheese plates and charcuterie boards....perfect with your bottle of wine The staff is very friendly and eager to help their patrons. They make you feel welcomed.

Had a lovely experience at Harney Lane this past weekend. Our server was Tianna and she was such a pleasant young lady. There are two different flights, one with a Chardonnay and rose, followed by reds, the other all reds.Tianna poured a couple of wines that were off menu, offering us to revisit anything that we liked. There are a few different zinfandels along with a Tempranillo and a secret varietal called the Patriarch which honors their founder. $20 tasting fee refunded with a bottle purchase. That's how to do business at a winery. Came home with a zin and Tempranillo. Will definitely go back.

Must do if in Lodi! Great wine, beautiful property and good people. It was a treat to hear Kyle talk about his wine. You can sense his enthusiasm and adventurous nature.

Harney Lane has become a winery so close to our hearts. I visited the place with a couple of friends just to make a quick stop but we ended up spending hours here. The staff were incredibly welcoming, exquisite wines and a tranquil ambience.

Absolutely lovely! We had the Classic Wine tasting, which included a great variety of different grapes and flavors. Will assisted us throughout the tasting. He was very informative about the wines as well as the winery and history of the area. We then purchased a cheese plate and a couple glasses of wine. We sat outside - which was beautiful. Sarah was also very helpful. Great staff and great experience. We're definitely coming back

Homeranch chardonnay and primitivo lot 23 was my 2 favorite wines there that I tasted . You can taste the quality compared to some other vineyards we went to . Pablo I believe his name was did our tasting and was very nice and explained everything to us . The ambiance inside and out was clean and peaceful . We liked it so much we became members after the first visit . Will definitely be back soon.

Harney Lane is definitely a gem in Lodi wine country. The staff is always a delight and extremely knowledgeable about their wines. The tasting room is nice but the outdoor patio/garden is even more lovely. Great place to stop on the way to Tahoe for charcuterie and wine. Try their Albariño.

we have done the ranch tour twice, once in the spring and again in the fall, both times interesting, seeing different aspects of the wine making process and the growth / maturity /harvesting of the grapes. the Staffs knowledge and hospitality is above an beyond, and best of all the wine is fantastic

We are still impressed with all the great wineries in Lodi. We happened to make a change in our winery visit and selected Harney Lane. It sits in the heart of wineries in the area. As you drive in there is sufficient parking. The inside is very elegant as is the garden area. You can tell the staff takes great pride here and they were friendly. The wines were unique with great flavor. Love the cheese & crackers that paired up nicely with our bottle of wine. A wonderful winery that we will definitely visit again in the near future.

Great place. Beautiful tasting room with a staff that obviously loves and believes in the wines they sell. We understand why. The wines are really good and the visit has been one of our favorites here in Lodi! Thank you.
