Had been in a couple times before, enjoyed the food and service and decided to go back in Saturday 10/21 at 8pm after a family friendly event in Lodi. After wating in line to order wings and my favorite beer. Cashier starts to ring up my order and another person comes up behind the counter to gruffly say "No More Food"- no sorry, no explaination why. The website and posted hours state closing at 10pm Saturdays. I put my card back in my wallet and walked out. This is NOT how you treat a loyal customers so youll never see me again. Sorry to bother.......

We came here for a comedy night and had a good time. The show costs like $10 and it was obvious everyone was an amateur. They had to stall a bit because the headliner was very late, but overall it was a good mix of styles. They seem to have lots of interactive stuff here like the comedy show and trivia nights, etc. We tried a flight and some snacks. I liked the blonde ales and my wife really liked the barley-beer. She keeps telling me to stop by and see if they sell it by the can so we can have some at home. I will probably try the pizza next time we come. The table behind us ordered one and it looked good. Its kind of in a strange location but I like that parking is easy. They have a nice outside area and I like that I can bring my dog with me if I want. Seems like a good place to relax with friends and have some drinks.

This place is our go-to for craft beers in Lodi. All of the other places are focused on IPAs, whereas this place has a much wider variety of beers. They have a fun patio out back, and plenty of seating inside if the weather gets nasty. They also have great little bites to eat! We tend to share the chicken wings and fries, but they have all sorts of goodies to enjoy. We've tried a few of the craft brewers in town, and this is by far the best one!

High Water Brewing is a nice little spot to spend some time and a great addition to the local community. They have lots of events and activities like live music on Friday nights, trivia and comedy shows. I like the aesthetic and that the location is sort of out of the way with ample parking. The ladies room is cute and clean. Plus they are dog friendly! It is a really nice option if you want to chill with friends and enjoy a few drinks. Most of the negative reviews here are for the service and I agree it is very hit and miss. This is not the friendliest place in town but because you can sample most of their offerings for just a few dollars, I find it easier to try out the options instead of asking for help or recommendations from the staff here, which I would usually do. As far as the beverages go, they have a Camp Fire Stout here which I feel pretty much anyone would like. It has a rich chocolate flavor with very little aftertaste and if you enjoy Guinness, you will like this beer. As far as their other offerings, I have found out by sampling with other people that they are very individual to your tastes. For example, we thought we would also love the Sugaree Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie. It sounds delicious but we didn't really care for it in actuality. The sweetness wasn't sweet in the way you would hope it would be and the aftertaste was unpleasant. We also tried the Mama's Boy Blonde Ale and I was not a fan at all but to be fair, I don't like light ales. My husband really enjoyed the blonde though. It was his favorite and he finished it off quick so I feel like anyone will be able to find something they like here. Also be careful to double check what you are ordering as at one point I was going off their online menu and asked for "14" which should have been a red ale but that is definitely not what I received. Not a big deal because I enjoy sampling but apparently is was called "XXX" and I did not enjoy it at all. Then I was paying attention and ordered the Marionberry Blueberry Tart Ale. I started drinking it and I did enjoy the flavor but it was not fruity at all which I thought was strange. I checked the receipt and it said "Honey Badger Cider" lol. Well, whichever one it was, I enjoyed it. I guess it doesn't really matter. My personal favorite by far here is the Old & In the Way 2019 BarleyWine. I was so surprised by this one. I could not stop sipping. Nice and malty with a delicious flavor...5 stars all the way. The pretzel we ordered at one point was small, a little burned and not worth the $8 so I would not recommend that but we will be back this Saturday and I will be trying some sore of their food offerings. I'm glad Lodi has this place and I look forward to coming back soon.

This review is based only on the customer service. I didn't get a chance to try their beer or food because we left after 10 mins. First time there and not sure how the service works. No greeting when we walked in. When I asked the person behind the bar how to order, she continued to text on her phone and rudely said you order here. So got a menu, went to a table, looked over the menu, went back to her to order, she looked at me like I was bothering her and rudely said I had to wait. My wife saw what she did and she went looking for a manager/owner. We explained how rude the person was and kindly took our business elsewhere. Won't be spending my money there! There are other breweries where I can spend my money. Just not at High Bother Brewery lol.

Went to High Water Brewing Friday to see Kelly Foley and The Men Who Fell To Earth. Live music at its best! They are advertised as a David Bowie cover band. They were / are so much more than that. Played mostly Bowie tunes but a variety of other rock band legends. Atomic Tommy on the guitar and Violin was absolutely shredding! Drums were pounded so hard it was reverberating through my body. Base guitar player was playing so hard I thought his fingers were going to fly off! Kelly on lead vocals is quite the showman with many costume changes and hitting all the notes so well it put a smile on everyones face. The show and I mean show, started around 7 pm and lasted until a little before 10. The venue was small and quaint but very personal. The only thing I would say about HWBL is that I would've expected wait people in the venue to help with servicing the hungry beer / wine drinking crowd at the show. Maybe there is some ordinance or regulation prohibiting the use of servers outdoors. I believe there would've been more food and alcohol sold if they had any servers at all working the show. All in all HWBL was a gas and I highly recommend you go check this place out. Plenty of parking, plenty of food and plenty of good times to be had by all!

Found this place through Harvest Host and wanted to check it out. Fell in love with the Campfire Stout. Great staff. Came back another day for lunch with friends. Limited menu but good pizza on thin cauliflower crust. Campfire Stout float for dessert. A new favorite place.

Great beer, tasty food. On a Wednesday night the place was busy. That should tell you that they are popular.

I don't understand how this place is 4 stars. The service is okay. Depends on who is serving or helping. Place isn't very accommodating there are brewery's 3x better. The A/c system is terrible , at least they have fans. Came on a Saturday , and the place looks like a industrial warehouse inside. The beer is overpriced , the pizza was completely burnt black and they expect to serve this to their customers. That is not okay and careless. If you want somewhere quiet and not packed okay this may be the place. I give this place a 2 &1/2 stars , place is messy , not enough workers to clean the tables properly. Disorganized , some servers are rude. No Apple Pay because the " machine is broken " beer is decent that's about it.

Over all, not impressed. Staff was average. Food was fine.Warning… Wednesday nights. Inside they host trivial-pursuit or something like that via a microphone & loudspeakers. In box / warehouse building it was LOUD. I sat outside where not much is clean due to the wind.

Solid selection of employees, and the beer isn't bad to boot. ? Great atmosphere, yummy foodstuffs, plus a fantastic logo compliment the vibe.Courtney is awesome...and she totally didn't ask me to say that.

What a great venue! I would suggest a third cashier on day like today with bands. I know they hosted a large evt yesterday and hopefully for next year, they are more prepared. The crowd was great, bands were great, cashiers were tired.

Lodi is doing something right by having a High Water Brewing in their city! I love how High Water Brewing supports local, young artists by hosting various events to showcase their musical talents. I went here one weekend to support my student by watching him play. I loved how nice the employees were when I wanted to inquire about their drinks and shirts offered. I also appreciate how they have food available at this location. I noticed that there are June events coming up such as pride and that is pretty cool and I can't wait to check this place out again!
