I usually love this place but this last time I was there I was disgusted. I ordered aguachiles and when they came out they were raw, raw and I know that they're suppose to be cooked in lemon . Anyway that wasn't the issue my issue was that all the shrimp still had their poop veins. I mean they were sliced open but not cleaned. I ordered aguachiles and seeing the poop still on the shrimp grossed me out. It's unsanitary!

My wife and I decided to venture around the town to see if we are missing out on any spots and boy did we miss this hidden gem!! The outside doesn't tell the story on what's really going on inside. You can tell this establishment is supported by the locals. The neighborhood is predominantly Hispanic, which is great because the food will be much more authentic. You can certainly feel the culture once you enter, the servers allow you to sit anywhere you'd like and the wait time wasn't too bad. All in all good service. Now the food: I could taste very flavored as each dish was perfectly seared and flavorful on the inside. I truly enjoyed each dish, the best thing I liked about the food is it was very fresh. I highly recommended coming here.

They don't use octopus...they use squid for the seafood platter and the crab isn't original either, it's surimi...the chili water I ordered was very cacique...they seasoned it with Persian lemon and they didn't put any slices of avocado in it...the sauces There were only 2...red huichol and black huichol...the seafood restaurant is missing and the Maggi the English one...etc.

Update... 1/30/24 - still the best fish tacos in Lodi!!! Do not pass this place upBEST FISH TACOS IN LODI, HANDS DOWN!!!I think they are breaded and then deep fried. Fajitas are great as well. We don't go there often only because they are always packed, but that's because their food is great! We went last night and it was freezing outside, maybe some outdoor patio heaters would be a nice touch due to outside dining during this pandemic...? Just a suggestion :) Portions are fair and I really like that they serve ceviche instead of salsa like all other Mexican resturants.

OK this has the second time I have been here. The first thing that I want to say that I like about this place is instead of giving you salsa and chips they give you ceviche, which is really good. They have all kinds of seafood that you can think of and that you love and they also have other stuff like fajitas, this is what we tried this time and they were really good and we will be back again to try of the big seafood plates. Service was great and the ambience was pretty chill. So if you are in this area of a Lodi come try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, unless you don't like seafood, but I will put up a few pictures and be back to see if they can earn that fifth star. Thanks.
