Excellent experience. Very friendly staff. Lucas is a small scale winery with roots to the very foundation of wine in the Lodi region. Excellent Zinfandel from a real "old vine" vineyard right outside the back door of the tasting room. Highly recommended.

Pros:- small food plates available- gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating - outdoor seating is amongst the trees and grape vines and it's truly stunning- service is amazing, everyone is so nice and knowledgeable about the wines- barrel room for events Room for improvement:- music outside would be beautiful Tips:- can make reservations online but if you're a member you don't need one (hopefully the winery will correct me if I'm wrong on this)- parking is on gravel and can be somewhat limited if the winery is busy

Lucas Winery did not disappoint. The selection for wine tasting was varied. We especially enjoyed the Zinblossom. Jane was our guide and she was wonderful. Lots of history of the place, but also how Lodi and especially Lucas, embrace the life sustainability of the grapevine. The place itself is welcoming and quite beautiful. Visit!

Great customer service. Our wine tasting person was so engaging, fun and very educated on what he was selling.One can tell he was proud of The Luca Winery and their processes on producing quality wines.He took our group to the vineyards, allowed us to take a sample of the vine and overall made us feel welcomed. They end the tasting with a free wine glass which is pretty awesome as the other wineries nearby didn't seem to have that option.We even saw the owner himself. He was so kind and just welcoming to all. Totally would return to this location.

I loved this winery! It's such a cute spot with interesting things to look at, like the soils from around the world and the surfboard made from barrels. Our server Jake gave exceptional service and was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and the history of the location. I can't wait to go back!

The wine was good. Certainly. Many are. Need a reservation. Except all the walk ins pay less and get all the same. The barrel room is modeled after some place in France. Ok. Certified and organic. As many are. I don't know. We are wine drinkers. We have wine glasses. Just seemed a lot.

I love love love this place! Last time we were here, the quality of the wine wooed us, and MaryLou completely sold us on the place, especially when I learned about their sustainability measures. (You got me with the owl boxes last time and this time you kept with the sheep! Haha) Their wine is a little on the expensive side for the area, but when you realize the size of their production and quality of their craft, it makes sense. MaryLou is the best; I really appreciate a person with knowledge, but who is humble enough to say, "I just don't know, let me find out". Really great! I wish we lived closer so we could go more often.
Wow! My new favorite winery! The wine, the service, the atmosphere all 5 stars! Mary Lou gave my friend and I an amazing visit! Gave us a detailed tour, love the back story. Just a wonderful day, just when I thought it couldn't get any better ended with an amazing port and chocolate. Plus the adorable coasters that are wildflower seeds that u can plant!! Can't wait for my family to visit so I can take them here!! Highly recommend!!

What a great, intimate wine tasting experience!! We stumbled upon Lucas Winery and were warmly greeted. We went ahead and did the wine tasting for $20, and our guide had great recommendations. We got a cheese/cracker box that was soo yummy. The service was great and quick, and our guide made recommendations based on our preferences. They play relaxing music, and this is a great quaint place to go for a chill, wine tasting day. I would definitely come back. Vibes 10/10

I enjoyed Lucas Winery, had a wonderful time with my girlfriend whom is a member, and this was my first time Winetasting. I got to taste several different wines, two we really liked but went home with 6 bottles with her club perks. Staff was super friendly, atmosphere is Old barn type, flowers and pictures of the history of the winery and owner. I look forward going back.
