Me and my fiancé love the food at this place but we order from them on doordash a lot and the last 3 times we've ordered they forgot to include any sauce whatsoever with our order. And seeing as how they don't allow special instructions on the order and you can't just order sauce there's no way to guarantee they put it in other than blind hope. It's irritating because the food is so good but the sauce helps take it to that next level. Hopefully they get this figured out. The employees have always been very nice

The Hawaiian bbq chicken was so tender and the quantity was perfect. I’ve never liked cabbage but I liked it from Ono! Not to mention that the staff was so friendly and personable!

The food was very dry and the chicken came out burnt. Also the employees were playing very loud muslim or spanish music in the kitchen area, so loud you couldn't even hear the hawaiian music play. The employes are also very messy and unorganized, they had a huge mess, it was very dirty and one of the employes was using a very dirty towel to clean the tables, when he was done cleaning the tables he didn't even washed his hands or put gloves on and touched the other peoples food and put them in bags, very disgusting, never coming back here again.

Make sure when you order phone call them again and ask if its ready. I ordered at 2:45pm. And got my order at 3:26! They said it only take 10mins. Food is ok. But the service kills it more. 3rd time being here and i guess not coming back anytime soon

My family and I went to go eat there and they had loud music playing in the dining room and loud Mexican music playing in the kitchen so yeah a head ack they were talking very loud but even worst was the food the meet was so tough and had a nasty taste like it was Frozen and the bottom of there to go plate was full of water It tasted like old bad bbq very nasty never again
Come and enjoy great food and great service in this friendly family-owned restaurant. Juan (the tall young man) is very kind, courteous and friendly. My first experience there was great and it gets better every time I go back.

06/17/23 (12:30pm) I called in to ask for all rice (no macoroni) on my fish plate that I ordered through Door Dash. The young guy who answered the phone told me that my Door Dash order had not showed up in their system yet. So I told him I would call back because I needed to make a slight alteration to my order. 7mins passed, I call back and was told my order was already picked up, and the original guy who answer the phone was a new guy, so he probably was confused or something. So I cancel my original order because my Son has allergic reaction to the Macoroni salad and re-placed the same again at the same location. This time I figured I’ll call and ask to speak to a Manager and just simply explain that I ordered a fish plate and could he just make it with all rice whenever it shows up in their system. His English was a bit rough as well as his understanding of English. He told me it was loud and could barely hear me, but I was in a super quiet room with nothing but a ceiling fan on. I tried to explain but he kept talking over me and finally just hung up in my face. This was very rude of him and I’ll make certain me and my family will ever spend another dime there.

This was the small taste of the Hawaiian islands, but in sunny Lodi, CA. I had low expectations when I went inside the restaurant, however this was quickly turned around. See my ratings below: Ambiance 3/5: Nothing special about the ambiance. They had the front door open which led it to feel extremely hot inside the restaurant. Price 4/5: I felt the price was reasonable based on the portion sizes that were given for the musubi and the chicken plate. Food 4/5: The beef musubi at Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a must-try. Well-seasoned beef wrapped in a blanket of sticky rice and nori. The combination of savory and slightly sweet flavors was amazing for sure! The young coconut for $5 was a tad expensive but very refreshing nonetheless. Paired perfectly with my food. Service 5/5: The staff were all very friendly, attentive and we struck up a great conversation about my visit to the lodi area. The wait was not long at all either. I believe I waited no more than 15 minutes for my food. I appreciate them a lot!
