It was our first time going here. A few of our friends have told us about it and that we need to their fried chicken. We decided to go for breakfast. It is located in an ok area of Lodi. The parking is decent. The restaurant kind of reminds me of like a Mel's Diner. The service was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was very good. The food was great! Delicious. I split a chicken fried steak (chicken) and a chuck chicken fried steak. Both were tender, and the flavor was on point. Country potatoes are in larger cuts than I prefer, but they are cooked thoroughly while veggies are not overcooked, and that's good. Here's the one drawback. Richmaid was recommended by a family member who lives nearby. We visited for breakfast and were immediately greeted and taken to a table. This family business definitely adds to the small town vibe and it's like stepping back in time as the ambience and decor lend itself to a time long since past. We had a great experience. Food was fantastic, and we were tended to frequently to see if our needs were met. Would definitely return to try some of the other menu options.
