Ok so I was done fishing in the California Delta and I was craving something cafe-bakerish. So Google popped up Ruby's, I got my directions and sped over there. As soon as you walk in the door, you say to yourself now this is the definition of Cafe-Bakerish LOL.Loads of fresh baked pastries on display - people inside are buzzing - smell of coffee in the air - this is the spot even before I tried anything. With so many options I chose the ham and cheese croissant, a blueberry scone (I was hungry) and of course cafe latte. The croissant was amazing - the scone was good and the latte was perfect. Always remember to get the latte for here it tastes so much better than in those to go cups.So do I recommend Ruby's - heck yeah I do, I just wish I was in the area more often because I would be a regular. Please do not hesitate when this place pops up in your Google search, you will not be disappointed.

We got a sourdough loaf, croissants, chocolate croissant, and some coffee. The loaf is so crunchy on the outside, soft and warm inside it was hard to resist. It's a little pricey, but it's worth every cent. For sure, I will come back soon!

Rubys knows what they’re doing with their food! They take ordinary pastries and sandwiches and make them extraordinary. Everything I’ve ever tried is mouthwatering good! Love this local spot!!

Upbeat, great place for a quick bite for breakfast or brunch. They’re little pricey, but most cafés and eateries in this eclectic category charge a bit more as well. I was disappointed that they charged me extra for a refill on my coffee. The staff is exceptionally friendly and they offer very high-quality food.

First time here for a quick out of office lunch and it was SO bomb! The staff was incredibly bright & cheery and comparably as sweet as the treats! ❤️ brought some goodies back to my sweet-tooth counterparts at work and they’ve been asking when I’m going back to get more ??

For starters it was the loudest place I’ve ever tried to have breakfast at, I ignored that not the biggest deal. But the turkey pesto sandwich was TERRIBLE and I’m not a picky eater whatsoever. It was so bad I took one bite and gave it to a homeless man. Thank you for helping me feed the needy Rubys.

Amazing. While visiting Lodi, we walked over a couple of times. Savory pastries and sweet pastries all excellent. We also picked up an Opera cake and a tiramisu for Christmas dinner, both gluten-free for my brother-in-law who has celiac. They were both outstanding. We live in the Portland area, where we have world-class bakeries. I can't imagine anyone giving this place less than five stars.

Well... another location that had a big hype that missed the mark unfortunately. The place is small so if you're coming with a bigger group don't count on comfortable seating arrangements. All but one table is made for bigger groups. The line got long and there's no clear indication how or where to order. The coffee was just ok.. nothing exciting or new. Staffs customer service is 50/50. The place is modern and cute. Maybe more enjoyable during the week: staff is young and maybe not as experienced. Not sure if I would give this place another try.. especially because everything is higher priced. Which I don't care paying more for quality service and food! This sadly missed the mark!

This is the best bakery, period. When you walk in, the employees greet you (and, if you come often enough, by name!) and the decor is tasteful and incorporates art from local artists. Everything is fresh and delicious. My husband basically worships this bakery and loves every single thing he's ever eaten there. If pressed, he'd say his favorite orders are the hazelnut twists and the Danishes. Every time he drives through Lodi he comes back with at least a couple of those treats. But the best is when we have time to stop in Lodi and try Ruby's savory options. The ham and cheese on their house-made sourdough bread travels well and is incredible, and the breakfast option of eggs, bacon, and sourdough toast prompted us to buy a whole loaf of their sourdough bread to take home with us. This place is the best and we only wish we lived there and could order there more often. But then we would also have to start running marathons or something to counterbalance our increased baked good intake...

The service was quick. It was clean and very friendly. We had a breakfast sandwich, which was very tasty. We also got some pastries to go.
