Love the goats and cheese! For the Designated Drivers you can do just a cheese tasting...

The Spenker Family Farm is welcoming to people of all ages. Goats are bred and raised here, with a creamery to produce goat cheese. Grapes are grown, and with that comes the wine to accompany the cheese. Nearby are the chickens for those farm fresh eggs. You might get a chance to meet Houston, the livestock guardian who is an Anatolian Shepard and towers above the Nubian goats. There are many events to interact with the goats through the spring and summer. And let us not forget the humans too, everyone is friendly and a wealth of knowledge for those who come with questions.

The wine and cheese pairing were delicious. The staff was excellent and friendly. We watched the goats playing with each other

They were very busy when we visited, and it was an especially blustery day. Sitting outside was not an option. It’s a small, family owned operation, but what makes it unique to other local wineries is the goats and freshly made goat cheeses. We enjoyed the wine and cheese pairing. We left with a Moscato and two chèvre cheeses: a dill and a chocolate cheese. I wanted to smuggle a baby goat home in my purse!

Absolutely amazing! One thing that sets it aside from other wineries is their wine + goat cheese flights. Their staff was extremely friendly and let us pet the animals. 10/10 recommend! Definitely check it out if you’re in Lodi! ?

A friend of mine is a member here and always insists on sending me photos of him drinking wine and eating goat cheese while I'm at work. So one day I was off and pretty much made him take me. The staff was great, they were helpful in picking out what cheeses we wanted to try and suggested a wine pairing with each one. We chose to sat outside near the goats and despite it being a slow day they had put the goats away but one of the ladies offered to let me pet some of the babies. It was a fun experience. The goat cheese is delicious! I had a hard time choosing which ones to take home with me but I knew for sure I needed the pumpkin spice one and I'm not a pumpkin spice girl. I will be honest, the wine was all ok, nothing that really blew my mind away but they weren't terrible either. The pairing was good though. I would go back for the goat cheese in a heartbeat and of course the goats!

This winery and goat farm is so cute and the people who run it are so sweet and friendly. We had a great time petting the goats, then went into the winery for wine and cheese tasting. Their wines and goat cheeses are delicious along with their jams. I left with a bottle of wine, 4 flavors of cheese and 2 jams that paired well with the cheeses. If you haven't been to this beautiful winery in Lodi, CA, you're missing a very fun time.

The baby goats from March - June are the best! The zin is delicious as are most of the cheeses! The family that runs this place are some of the most friendliest people I've come across. A great Lodi gem and fun for the WHOLE family

Rose and other reds were just plain bad.

What an amazing place! I am a lover of goat cheese and Spenker Family Farm did not disappoint! I could have spent the entire day just getting to know all of the genuinely awesome folks who work there. I love how friendly everyone is and they allowed me to ask so many questions (oh boy did I ask a lot) as well as they shared a lot of what goes into their delicious foods and wines, including the magic that happens behind the scenes (lots of hard work and true dedication). I could go on and on but one thing that is evident is the fact that this place feels like home to me. You can see how happy everyone is and you can taste it! They take pride in everything that they do. Hands down one of my all time favorite places. If you haven't been, you should definitely stop by!

Hands down the best winery place I've ever been to. And I will definitely be back. Legit, if you haven't been, you need to go. Amazing people, Sherry, Sarah, Kate and the others that I cannot remember their name at the moment. Great service, family environment and overall a place that just feels like home to me. First time ever and they definitely rolled out the red carpet for us. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing opportunity to just get to know who they are on a deeper level. I absolutely adore this place and so should you!

We recently attended Good Night Goats it was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and sweet. We then had some of their goat cheese which was out of this world. The property is gorgeous and the tasting room is so homey.

Place was alright. I liked 50% of the wine and cheese was all good. However, what I love about wineries is talking to the hosts about the wine and being educated on their specific wines/cheeses. This doesn’t happen here. Honestly, costumer service was very lacking. When we walked in we were greeted by a blank stare from the lady, so we asked what they had to offer and she just gave a short reply and nothing else. Took our payment and never spoke to us again. It was an awkward interaction and uncomfortable atmosphere. I was hoping for so much more.

Had everything I needed & then some. Not a big Walmart fan usually, but since they’ve closed the 3 in & around where I live in Oregon, I enjoyed this trip. Even paying California taxes.?

So my wife and I were watching Married at First Sight... yes I watch that show...shoot me. Anyways, we see some newlywed couple having a blast at a goat yoga class and the wife says "OOOH I'd love to do that!" So I Google 'goat yoga classes' in my area and see that Spenker Winery provides such services as well as wine and cheese tasting. Now, I am not a yoga man or a wine conniseuer, so I was nervous about making an absolute fool out of myself. To my surprise, the class was beginner-friendly and the goats....oooh the goats. Friendly, charming, curious, playful, the list goes on. There was a lot more goat petting than actual yoga going on for my wife and I, but the staff didn't mind. Speaking of the staff, they were just a joy to be around. Very helpful, always smiling, eager to help out, the list goes on and on. Bottom line, I now want to live on this farm.
