for a company that prides themselves on their coffee, they should be better - the worst cup of coffee I have ever had - tried them twice and will never be back

Nice vibe, but more importantly excellent coffee. I love my cortados, but any time I try a new place, I start with a straight espresso shot to really get a taste of the beans. This did not disappoint! Excellent balance, and a nice smooth, sweet finish. Perfection. (Oh…the cortados was excellent too!)

I personally did not have a good experience at this location and I just wanted to address a few issues for anyone considering coming here. First off, I want to acknowledge that the business next door to this location is under construction and has been for some time. I understand this is not their fault. However, you need to understand before you come here that you will be just a few feet from this very loud construction before you visit. As we walked up, I had to stop abruptly when a flurry of sparks flew out in front of me. The neighboring building was using a circular saw to cut metal and the sparks were flying out into the walkway. It was incredibly loud and startling. The patio area is literally just seating to watch construction at this point and that little waterfall in the corner can't be heard or enjoyed over the noise. You can always sit inside right? Hmmm... Had I read the reviews before I came, I would have seen the repeated mentions of "weird vibes" and poor customer service (even in the good reviews) but instead I was able to witness it firsthand. The staff here is not particularly friendly and although there were two other people in the shop you could hear a pin drop...in between the loud construction noises anyway. It definitely has a less than inviting atmosphere. So, plans changed to grab the coffee and go. We have tried the Trail Coffee in Stockton and even got a gift card. Their website clearly states that it is "Available to use at any of our locations" and their Yelp page states in the About the Business section that "Trail Coffee Lodi is Trail's third location and first one outside of Stockton." Why then when we asked the cashier about using our gift card did she say it was for Stockton and after swiping, tell us "It doesn't work here."? Some things are out of your control. Staff can be having a bad day or not be trained correctly, etc. However, poor product on top of it all is really unacceptable. I was honestly happy to pay for my drink and just get the heck out of there but when I sat in the car to finally drive away and tasted my "Honey Lavender" latte, well, that was the final nail in the coffin for me. No honey, no lavender, just truck stop coffee with some half and half splashed in over some ice. I have made myself much better coffee at a hotel continental breakfast. This place was an utter disappointment and even if you are considering giving them a try, I would definitely wait until construction is finished with looks to be around late summer 2024 at this point and I would be very surprised if this place makes it that long at this rate.

Best third wave coffee in the area!I tried their cappuccino and latte. The quality of their coffee is really good. It’s really hard to find coffee of this quality in this region.I would definitely be going here often.

I've had trail coffee at the Stockton location so stopped in when j saw they had a Lodi one. I was excited. Coffee was great, place was cute. Unfortunately, the baristas were very rude and unattentive. Don't think I'll be coming back.

Trail Coffee Roasters, one of the best hidden places to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. It’s open from 7am to 2pm. It’s a nice spot to study, meet up with a friend, and maybe even grab coffee to-go before work. Inside the coffee shop it is peaceful and cozy. The coffee shop is not too spacious, but it’s very unique and aesthetic. I love that I have an option to sit outside as well, because I can feel the nice breeze in the morning. They also have larger seating areas outside with an umbrella and a fire pit in the center. I really enjoy the atmosphere there. At trail coffee roasters, I ordered a latte. I could’ve add some sugar, but it tasted delightful even without it. The menu has a small selection of sweet, hearty, and grainy snacks you can eat. If only I could tell Trail Coffee Roasters, “I like you a latte”.

I've been meaning to try this place for awhile now and finally made it before they close at 2pm. Their front door is on the side of Papapavlo's courtyard seating. Plenty of private parking here. The interior was nice with cool colors and gave it a "beach" vibe. Reminded me of Santa Cruz cafes I visit. The barista was friendly and she even helped me bring my plate with my bagel outside. I just ordered their drip coffee they were serving at the moment which was a light, medium roast. It was good but I needed something stronger. Should've added a shot of espresso. That's just my preference. I enjoy dark roasts. My everything bagel was fresh and plenty of cream cheese was provided on the side. Sitting outside was nice, however, the street it is surrounded by is sort of loud with traffic in the early afternoon. The waterfall fountain was pleasant to hear and enjoy while drinking my coffee when there wasn't noise. Next time I'll sit inside. I'll be back to try more.

Great/friendly customer service and smooth tasting latte. The goat cheese and herb crescent was okay. The only issue I experienced was the one pump of vanilla syrup I requested seemed like more than one pump, so the latte was a bit too sweet. I'll definitely go back for the latte, but skip the syrup and food.

It's okay. Came in for some coffee, employees seemed to be done for the day, therefore working quickly and not to enthusiastic to be there. I get it... work sucks but geese a little smile could go a long way. Also, there were only 2-3 food items left , so no choice in food items which was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to items posted on their social media...

I’m all for supporting local coffee, but absolutely no way I’ll promote a place that does drag events for all ages. That’s atrocious and I’ll gladly get coffee elsewhere…
