If you haven't had Island Hut I do strongly recommend them. Their food tastes so good and the marinated meat is delicious. The service is awesome and the staff is awesome too. The dine isn't big but is spacious enough to enjoy your meal here. I got the chicken and beef plate. And man everything was delicious. I forgot to take a pic before I realized I ate my food but I will be back. Thank you Island Hut.......
Food was so-so. I had curry katsu chicken with vegetables. The vegetables were pretty tasteless, but the curry itself was ok. My grandma and mother had the teriyaki beef with noodles and rice, which they said was ok, but my mother said the beef was salty. The girl who took our order was a bit rude, but the other girl there who helped me later and brought our food was very nice. "Island Hut" is a hidden gem sitting in plain sight. It's located on the corner of Lomita Blvd (x) Pennsylvania Ave--50 yards from the major intersection of Lomita Blvd (x) Crenshaw Blvd. The format is fast casual.
