At the first moment you step in this place they give you an enjoyable feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a lovely restaurant to go out with your friends or with your date. Great cooking, specialist chief cook and stuff, decent pay and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Badly cooked overpriced garbage thats served in a dirty rundown mostly vacant stripmall that you would expect was going out of business or being demolished, and the interior matches. It's the type of place you are not surprised to be robbed at night around. Its usually empty and there are no questions why. I think most Filipinos would be insulated to have what they serve called Filipino food, or even food for that matter!

This place has been closed for 2 years now. The food truck is over priced for little food portions.

Caught Island Mix's food truck out at Danish Days in Solvang. They recommended Pancit Palabok. Pancit are noodles and were originally introduced into the Philippines by Chinese Settlers. They topped the rice noodles with fried pork belly and crushed Chicharon. Was hoping for more of a taste sensation from the Chicharon, but felt it got lost in the heavy flavor of the fried pork belly, which by the way tasted pretty good. My only complaint would be the sauce for the Pancit was thin and a bit bland. Palabok should contain a heavier, more flavorful fish sauce to liven up the noodles, which was lacking. Additionally if you offer a hard boiled egg, make sure you know how to properly prepare it; the grey discoloration around the yoke means you boiled it too vigorously and too long, which will give it an off taste. However, I am grateful for their sharing of their food culture with the rest of the community, would be willing to try other menu items next time.

Awesome Filipino food, my wife always get the pancit never can go wrong with that. The pork adobo is what I normally get and is perfect for lunch or dinner. If you love Filipino food you can order ahead of time sisig which has amazing flavor but is special order highly recommend if you see the Island Mix truck setup its a must try

Pulled pork adobo sandwich is delicious. Unexpected flavor but so tender! The only thing is they offer different combos for different events, so when we ordered the pork sandwich with the two lumpia listed on the menu they said they weren't offering it for the event we were at until we and another guest pointed out it was on the sign. Glad we got to try before they ran out.

Went to the Spring Festival in Lompoc yesterday and was going to have lunch there. It was after noon and they were waiting for someone to bring them oil. Today no one showed up until after 12:30 and they were just starting to cook. Whoever owns this business needs to hire more reliable employees.

I heard the lumpia was great and I tried to eat there two days at the Spring Arts Festival but they were not ready. On Saturday at noon they said they didn't have any oil and on Sunday they did not show up until after 12:30. They lost a lot of business not being there. I asked when they would be ready and they said 20 minutes. Opening for lunch at 1:00 is too late.

Tried them for the first time. Large portions for the price. Fast service but the flavor was lacking to me.

We were visiting our fav wine tasting room when this beautiful coloured food truck pulled up. Mmmm, we were hungry and we like Filipino food. We had #3 with adobo chicken (perfect!), pancit (the best!), rice and lumpia. Priced right too! Sooo tasty and handy as we got a glass of Ave chardonnay, sat outside on a perfect central coast day, ate our lunch and made new wine friends. Will find them again in the area. They cater also!

I ate at the food truck and it was an interesting experience. The people were really nice, but the food was not great. It was bland and full of oil. Maybe if I sat in the restaurant and ate it might be different.

When are they actually open? Went there during posted business hours and they were closed.. Really want to eat here again.

There food is great and their hospitality is out of this world. Whenever I'm in town, this is my go to place.

Great food, nice to have something different in Lompoc. Tastes authentic, menu is small so deciding is easy. Lookout for the Island Mix's truck around town and the village for some roach coach style food.
