The absolute slam dunk of Mt Whitney Restaurant is the location to the Dow hotel right across the street.What to expect: This is a casual neighborhood/passerby restaurant on the main strip through town. It is not fast food. I did receive my order in 12 minutes. Mt. Whitney really exceeded our expectations. I give the food 3 stars only because it's basically what you'd expect at a diner/grill--but I have to say I really liked that they nailed the basics. I ordered the fried chicken dinner and it was a lot of food -- salad, 4 pieces of chicken not at all small like another review stated), potato options and a veggie. My partner order the pulled pork and loved it. The service was very friendly. I recommend.
