I’ve only order through delivery service since I don’t have a car, but it’s been 10/10 every time! My partner even just went vegan for the first time because of health reasons and he said the burger was the best vegan burger he’s had yet!! The burger also came with coleslaw, which neither of us are a huge fan of, but I loved it as it wasn’t heavy or greasy but very light and full of flavor. The crunch wrap I got was delicious and the chips and salsa it came with was very fresh! It’s our new go to vegan place :)

This is my first visit to Higher Taste through my daughter's guidance.It was a rainy Thursday around lunch hour. The place was empty and there was only one lady behind the counter smiling at us. She gave us a warm greeting and showed us the menu on the counter, then patiently wait for us browsing before ordering.I ordered the jalapeno burger and a side of sweet potato fries. I considered the portion for the fries quite generous. They were slightly more salty to my taste but still great. The burger patty has a slight smokey taste. I have been a vegetarian for decades and I am not going to compare it with a real burger. I am willing to say I will take this any day over a Beyond burger patty.My lunch mate had a Thai Temple Bowl. I took a bit of the Thai peanut dressing for tasting and I say it has a good balance between the sweetness and nutty taste.Prices are quite reasonable given the recent bout of inflation and higher prices.Parking is paid street parking so it is a good opportunity to dispose of some of your quarters, and add to your daily step counts.As for recycling, I do not see separate bins, but they are using paper plates and bowls.I was studying and living in Long Beach decades ago. It is a delight to find this place as a tourist now. I definitely would recommend this place to my friends - vegetarians or not.

This place is great! It was really warm inside, they should add a fan or two to the floor. My burger and salad were awesome, and the ginger mint lemonade was fantastic. I scarfed down the food fast but enjoyed every bite. I have the chipotle ahimsa burger, I highly recommend it. The dressing for the salad was awesome too! Next time I go I will try the desserts.The store is split in two, a dessert side and savory food side. The décor is great with love plants abundant. The staff is super nice and helpful. The restroom was clean, the store was clean and organic feeling. I’d definitely give this place a try if you were on the fence.I went back recently and they've added some tasty things to the menu. Nashville Hot sandwich is 10/10!Vegetarian options: Its a vegan restaurant.

all the food i ordered lacked complex flavors. maybe cheap ingredients maybe bad recipes? the floor and tables were sticky. the kitchen/back counter looked filthy! found hair in my food too.
Delicious and healthy. I like the bowls which are hearty, not greasy or too salty, full of flavor on its own without dressing.

I absolutely love this vegan cafe! The food is fantastic (especially the avocado jalapeño cheeseburger), but more than that, their cookies are SO GOOD. I’ve literally never had such good cookies, what to speak of vegan cookies.
