Best beer! Best service, best team hands down the best. I love this brewery so much, their team is very helpful, you can order pizza directly to your table from thunderbolt. Their beers are the best in town, arguably the best ever but that’s my personal opinion.

Local microbrewery (ambitiousales.com) with beer garden, located in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach. We were early on a Sunday for a community event across the street, and heard the popping music (Talking Heads, anyone?) here so decided to check it out. It's big inside, with an outdoor beer garden in the back. The front patio was being used for sit-down drinking along with a small set-up selling vinyl records.What drew me in was the uniqueness of the ales, including a couple that obviously had Filipino influences: Ube Kape (purplish in color like grape soda, but had a strong coffee flavor like a stout) and Tita Manilita (mango West Coast IPA). We picked up a 4 pack (16 oz) of the Ube Kape to-go for $20, and a t-shirt ("Ambitious Ales, Long Beach" for Dad). Next time, we will stop in to drink/eat in.

I've been loving this Long Beach microbrewery! They have a bit of seating inside but most of their seating is on the front patio and large back patio/beer garden. Most of their offering fall under light + crispy, hoppy, or fruited and I've never had a beer I didn't like. There are QR codes on the tables so you can order from the delicious Thunderbolt pizza to accompany your beverages.

Came here around 6pm on a Wednesday. Bartender was friendly. Assorted brews for taste. Our drinks did not dissapoint. Great ambiance. Very spacious. Front lounge, inside by the bartender and outback at the benches. Restrooms were clean.The order system for food was easy. Scan the barcode and a menu catered by Thunderbolt pizza. Many to choose from. You still have to order up front though. It would of been nice if you you can order your drinks from the barcode as well, having your drinks delivered to your table would of been awesome.The negative, you cannot drink beers from the can. They sell them there but cannot drink them there. To go only. Because of that, I gave only 4 stars.I recommend this place to chill. Has a good vibe for a hangout.

Ambitious is wonderful! We wait for Jade to serve us since she is so friendly and helpful. This last time, she suggested a West Coast IPA that was co-brewed by Ambitious and Beachwood Brewing called Neighborhood Pals and it was wonderful. The place was very busy for a Friday night, but we found a spot and played a couple rounds of gin rummy. We ended up leaving with a 4-pack of the Neighborhood Pals and enjoyed one the next evening. Ambitious is in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach and has a neighborhood vibe, complete with corn hole games, lotsa kids/families, and plenty of dogs. Just next door is Thunderbolt Pizza, and they deliver (niiiiiccce). Ambitious often has a pop-up food business that usually doesn't disappoint. This is a great place on a warm evening - the back area sits a LOT of people.
