Had a nice glass of vermouth to go with the Korean food.Will definitely be coming back for snacks off their menu soon.

Buvons is the place to go to either beginning of the night or at the end over an amazing selection of Natural Wines and good vibes, an open outdoor space and a cozy interior to choose from. Id highly recommend checking this spot out!

Despite our eagerness to explore their wine selection, we were left unattended for over 20 minutes. No staff member approached us or offered any guidance through their wines.The lack of assistance was frustrating, especially in a setting where understanding and choosing from a variety of wines is crucial. While we managed to find a bottle we enjoyed on our own, the overall experience was marred by the poor service.For a small business, the service standard should ideally be more attentive and welcoming. It's unfortunate that the service fell short, as it impacted our impression of the establishment. The rudest staff I’ve ever met before. We went to celebrate/support their 2nd anniversary, an exciting milestone for a local business, and were met with such disrespect. When we asked for chairs to sit, the attitude and huffing and puffing was completely unnecessary. You’re charging a $15 corkage fee for bottles bought AT your shop but not going to try and help find 2 seats for us when you had at least 10 chairs behind you? They then had the audacity to call out my husband for his Google review while we were leaving and saying thank you for the night after everything. Absolutely immature, complete lack of knowledge of service and hospitality. Will never be recommending this place or coming back.

First time I visit, AMAZING! can't complain...BUT the second time a server call Marie, was in bad mood and was rude. I decided leave because I felt uncomfortable. I didn't take it personal, I thought she was only having a bad day (like every human being) BUT wow! surprise, my third visit. Same mood, same actitud, same energy. So clearly she is juts a rude person with no background on costumer service. I try to spoke with the owner, juts to give them a feedback but I got the same passive aggressive energy. I realized they are business patterns and very good friends. Such a shame because I really like this place and vibe.

They don't care about you. They'll charge you a $15 corkage fee for the bottles you buy at their own shop then won't hand you a chair that's behind them. Buvons is the best wine bar we have been to in Long Beach! The ambiance and staff are extremely pleasant. We love their daily tasting options paired with a cheese. Most of their cheeses come with Gusto Bread, another Long Beach classic! We have been several times and are yet to not love one of their wines.

I have never had a bad experience at Buvons and the last few reviews have me incredibly puzzled. I have been coming to Buvons at least once a week for the past year because they have hands down the best wine selection, the most knowledgeable staff and an ambiance that I haven't been able to find anywhere in Long Beach or even the greater LA area for that matter. The team at Buvons deeply cares about finding a wine that you'll enjoy. They check personal preference at the door and don't smother you while you're trying to make a decision. Wine is increasingly expensive PERIOD and the quality of the wine is meticulously curated.I can't help but feel like the last few negative reviews show a bit of gender bias in that the team at Buvons is entirely female. For the majority of the staff, English is their second language (with stunningly beautiful accents) so maybe the reviewer's own insecurities were coloring their perspectives. The women of Buvons are whip smart and do not shy away from that. I will be a forever patron.

great wine spot. all natural wine selection, good space, good wine, great service. we came for the first time because of the Hamburgers Nice pop up… thought we’d support the shop and get a bottle of wine and ended up buying 3 + acheese and bread plate. We aren’t LB locals but will definitely be back. (didn’t get a pic of our first bottle, also there’s a corking fee that confused me cuz we bought their wine and drank it there)
