If you're looking for a fine dining experience Chianina is a great place to be at! From their welcoming service to amazing food there is so much I can say! But let's start with food! We came to Chianina during dine LA when they had a special course menu. The star of the show will have to be the white truffle risotto. It was so flavorful and delicious I couldn't wrap my mind around how it was so good! My next favorite will have to be the mussels they had! The sauce that they sautéed the mussels in was to die for! Especially when you dip the bread into the sauce! And my last favorite would have to be the steak! It was cooked to perfection while being extremely tender. It was almost like I was eating a filet but it wasn't a filet! This restaurant definitely deserves a 5/5! A great experience of being a bit fancier and dining at a higher level! Can't wait to try what's new here!

I'm usually not a fan of dry aged beef, however, was pleasantly surprised at Harris'. All of the mains that our table selected (bone-in sirloin and ribeye, filet, lamb chops) were excellent though a few were a bit overdone. Would count this as one of the top steakhouses in Long Beach.

I ate here long before covid, but out of boredom, I thought I would write my review now.It was dinner on Mother's Day and the waitstaff was exhausted. Do restaurants really need to offer Mother's Day brunch when they can make such a killing during dinner and lunch? I digress, most of the steaks were sold out except for a large porterhouse which we all shared. I must admit that I dreamed about the steak that night even though during its consumption I was only mildly impressed. One must realize how surprised I was when the next day I was still thinking about a steak like it was a moving film or book! Aside from the meat, I wasn't super impressed with the sides offered. The portions were meager. I don't know, maybe it was because it was Mother's Day and they were out of stuff. Our bowl of mushrooms was like half full when we got it! I would like to give the sides a second chance but sides should be an important part of the steakhouse experience. Can I quote "Wolf of Wall Street?" "What are these sides? They cure cancer?""The sides did cure cancer, that's the problem, that's why they were so expensive."They don't have to cure cancer but at least be something I can look forward too.That being said, the sides were passable. However, the desert left much to be desired. The banana pudding was just, well, so fancy they simply couldn't pull it off. It's a steak house, please do something basic but high quality. Italian Cheesecake or some kind of soufflé sounds good.That comes to my conclusion, with the so-called "too fancy" curse (which doesn't happen much in today's fine eateries that are all without white table clothes and filled with noise) this restaurant was a victim of said curse. I wish this place would try to be less complicated with their menu and stick more to basic and rustic Italian steak house offerings. In the end, though, the steak was amazing as was the experience.

We enjoy to go out. Last night we visited this magnificent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a beautiful evening there with superb dishes and an experienced team and an impressive chief cook. We added this venue in our list and we shall certainly come back soon. We deeply recommend.

I was referred to this place by a friend while I was shopping in Haight. Walked over here ordered a pizza and some fancy water infused with lemonade oh and some wings. The wings were delicious they were not your regular wings they are hella deep fried. The pizza was scrumptious, the dough and crust were exquisite. The tomato sauce used was fresh, like out of the garden fresh. The ambiance was that of like a first date spot. I wish this spot was open late and had like a dj for some background music, just an idea.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is tasty and the team is generous and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a pleasant time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Amazing in every way, but kind of weird choice in music. 80's dance at medium volume in an empty upscale steakhouse? Don't get wrong, my wife and I were grooving on MJ's Thriller blasting at full volume, but it was odd...

My GF and I are regulars here. We celebrate promotions, birthdays... any reason to come really. Our last visit we decided to try something new since we regularly eat steaks here. The burger and porkchop were AMAZING! I must also add that they were a bargain. There is no hiding that this place can get pricey, I mean you get what you pay for x2! But, I must mention that these two items were reasonable and tasty. My only complaint will be that for paying $25 corkage fee I had to refill both our glasses too many times. Service was not up to Chianina standards our last visit as I have never needed to complaint, a one off by our waitress hopefully. I wish I could tip the cooks because they make this place! Will 100% continue to be a regular!
