The Instigator is SO GOOD. I ordered the Instigator (shaken espresso with maple and brown sugar) with oat milk. However, I did get my Instigator decaf because I'm trying to not intake as much caffeine. I'm not sure if it's right of me to say this, but the Instigator reminds me of a better Dutch Bros drink because of how sugary it is. I love the interior of the coffee shop. The design is beautiful and there's so much natural lighting. I love the plants that are scattered everywhere. I noticed a lot of people doing homework/working. There's also tables and chairs outside if you want to catch some sun! The baristas were friendly. They guided my friends and I through the menu and even made a last minute change to a drink. You can definitely vibe with the baristas. I would say it was hard to find parking, even on a week day. My friends and I had to circle around the street a few times until spots opened up.

Alex, Logan, and the guy with the nose ring and cute eye tattoo on his left arm are THE BEST. Literally my favorite people ever. I’ve never felt more seen or welcomed at a coffee shop. The drinks are cool and the everything croissant is what I want served at my funeral, but those 3 souls in particular are what make me want to go in there. Truly set my day up for success. First time trying this location, and there is no disappointment here. It's quite refreshing to have a location that blends effortlessly with the community. I had their chai latte w/almond milk and pistachio syrup ..it was delicious in addition I had a pantry cookie made by Nonna Mercado (local shop).aww man the best! The staff was so welcoming and had a great vibe. There were a lot of people on laptops and studying. but it's still worth the visit. I really enjoyed my experience and will return to try out some other items.

I had a very bad experience. They have no professionalism on handing bad experiences. I had my coffee made with hole milk that had gone bad. When I called to tell the Manger all I was told was yes we acknowledge we leave our milk out, but for no longer than 20min. I was never offered a refund or even a replacement of my drink. Never ever will I go back or recommend.

Cute cafe with lots of natural lighting and outlets. Love the bar seating that faces outside. Perfect for people watching. Most tables are for 2 people so keep that in mind. For studying/working it can get a little loud so I would recommend bringing headphones. Drinks are on the pricier side. I got a Christmas drink - coconut peppermint matcha and it was .. disappointing. Street parking. Pastries available. Wouldn't come back unless I was in the area.

CoffeeDrunk on 4th St. Long Beach, CA is a great spot to enjoy innovated flavors of coffee. They have a variety of choices to try and extremely reasonable prices. Best of all, they have wonderful customer service!!! They were so friendly and helpful, and they even helped us by recommending popular choices! They provided us with their signature menu, and had seasonal options too. Danny went for a bold choice, as usual (the drink on the left). He ordered the Iced Blue Berry Brown Sugar latte with oat. Naty went for the barista's recommendation, ordering the claim to fame--The Instigator, which is espresso shaken with half maple and brown sugar with a touch oat milk. (Half maple not to make it overly sweet). This drink only comes iced! We also got pastries to recommend for those who enjoy some warm bread early in the morning!! We ordered the cheese, bacon, and onion scone and the morning Bun, a buttered bread topped with cinnamon and sugar. This place was super enjoyable and the atmosphere was relaxed, study approved! They're also animal friendly if you want to come here during your dog walks! We will definitely return and try different other options as the coffee taste was enjoyable.

I've been to another location but this one is way better because of my seating, outlets, and free wifi. Also, they close later than the other one. There is only street parking. This place is filled with beautiful luscious plants. It gives us a green and pink vibes. The music is really loud in here so I can hear it over my music, so it's hard to concentrate. The staff here don't really make conversation like other coffee shop but they do get it done fast. I got the famous instigator. It's alright to me, just basic ice coffee. Not sure I would make it famous. I would say it's average price.

Inside, it was pretty small and there was a huge line and not enough tables for everyone. It was cozy though, with plants and merchandise they have for sale. The employees are very inconsiderate of people when they are on meetings/calls. The employees forced a lady to leave her table when she was on a work meeting/call to remove her table in placement of packages. In addition, they claimed my friends and I cannot put table together due to a building code but did exactly that! They put two tables together with another customer and allowed it for them but not us! Absolutely rude and unprofessional
