Most brunch Mexican restaurants I’ve tried tend to be on the bland side. Upon arrival here I had both hopes and doubts. I base my expectations for Mexican restaurants by their Guacamole and their spicy salsa. We ordered the guacamole and street corn to start. To all of our surprise the guacamole was very flavorful. The street corn dip was also flavorful and delicious. The green sauce was also delicious. We all wanted a portion to ourselves. We asked if they had hot sauce or spicy salsa and our waitress brought out a habanero salsa that was legitimately spicy. It had a really good kick to it, which made us very happy. I ordered the Mole Verde de Oaxaca (19 ingredients, toasted nuts, balanced savory sauce over grilled chicken, sesame seeds, pickled red onions, Mexican rice, garlicky whole beans, choice of corn or flour tortillas. For $16.95). The chicken was moist and tender. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. All in all the meal was a delightful surprise. I’m definitely coming back with family and friends.

Great seasoning on a simple scramble. We were hungry before shopping on 4th st. We sat down here on a Saturday at 11 and ordered brunch. I had the scramble with eggs, bacon, potatoes, veggies hold the cheese. YUM! My friend had huevos rancheros and loved it. Excellent coffee. I'll go back.

Had lunch here with 6 other from work. Sat outside. Service and food were outstanding Chips and salsa (especially salsa) were fantastic. Avocado salsa is my favorite. Food was top-notch. Parking was nearby and convenient.

Some of the best Mexican food in Long Beach. Al and consistently delicious and never overly greasy or heavy. The meat is so tender and flavorful, and the elote is fantastic. We discovered this place last year through Maritime courier. It was quickly becoming a regular in our takeout rotation, and then they closed suddenly. The sign on the window says they will reopen when indoor dining is allowed again, so hopefully we can enjoy our new favorite spot again soon! We miss you Dave's!!

I pass this place every time I go jogging today I decided to stop by and get a taco special just to give it a try I paid about 8 dollars when I got home I was impressed packaging was good tacos where delicious gracias Rosa and the cashier was friendly. I can't wait to try the chilaquiles next time . I recommend this place better than hole mole cantarito taqueria .

Dave's takeout is quick and high quality, our favorite spot to order lunch or dinner (or both tbh). Bella always has our order packed and ready on time and all staff always wears masks. COVID safe and bomb food

Can't say it enough, one of the best Mexican spots in Long Beach. Some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had. I come here about 3-4 times a week and if you haven't been here, you're missing out! Rose and Bella are amazing! Quick service. GREAT food.

We've been meaning to try this place for a few months, and finally got around to it for breakfast Saturday morning. Holy smokes, so flipping tasty. We got the chilaquiles and the Dave's breakfast burrito. The chilaquiles were INSANELY perfect, not too greasy, loads of flavor, good portion size. The breakfast burrito was also amazing, loved how well all the flavors melded together. Can't wait to try this place out for dinner, but can 1000% recommend them for breakfast orders.
One of my new spots for Mexican food. In LA county Mexican food is usually a hit or miss. At the opening the food was so so here, over time the quality and cooking has improved greatly. The woman who works the evening is kind and usually small talk is made as I wait for my order. Yesterday I enjoyed the quesadilla and some tacos after trying the burrito several times. A young girl and an older woman were working the morning which was a change from the usual duo I ran into when coming at night. The girl who helped me was friendly and got me out pretty quickly. The fact they are good about cleaning the store (she was cleaning when I waited for my order) shows they are big with sanitizing the store so that's good during the pandemic since other stores I've enjoyed are lazy and are more relaxed with cleaning measures. Only minor critique is the quesadilla was more tortilla than meat and other than the meat it was just cheese so probably won't be something I have again but the tacos and burritos are the go to items here and both are delicious. Three carne asada tacos are my usual go to though. The morning helper Bella is really nice and polite on the phone and in person, service is fairly quick.

Got the loaded French fries and they were so delicious I came back the next day! LOL seriously though, I wasn't expecting much, how special can you make French fries?! But these are sooooo good! Got them with shredded chicken, definitely recommend! Also Bella worked the register and she was really nice- she didn't judge me when I came back in the next day haha I love neighborhood spots like this because they always make you feel so welcome. Go check them out :)

Hands down top 4 of my best taco list that I have eaten in Long Beach. I tried the 3 taco lunch special. I tried the carne asada, carnitas and birria tacos. The rice needs a little more flavor and the beans needed more cheese, but the tacos and the customer service took the experience to the top. Restaurant is very clean and well decorated, can't wait till we can eat in again!

Came here to get a bfast burrito because Tito’s was closed, but theirs is now my favorite. It seemed a little pricey at first, but the portions were extremely generous and the flavor was perfect. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Dave is a neighborhood staple here, he's awesome. When he told me he was opening this restaurant across from the liquor store i was stoked. Needless to say it met all my expectations and more You're the best, Dave! Edit: I forgot to mention how cool the girl at the counter was, didn't catch her name but super friendly and nice
