This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting and I felt compelled to leave a review this time. The owner and his wife are sooo incredibly nice and friendly. My food is always fresh, seasoned to perfection and delicious. Today, I had the Lobster fries and all I have to say is I will only eat lobster from here from now on. Absolutely my favorite lobster. My fried shrimp and fish was on point as usual. Thank You for a wonderful Sunday dinner.

This is the worst fish market I have ever tasted the fish was real fishy they did not cut it correctly the cornmeal mixture they used was horrible don't get me started on the nasty potato salad I should have ran when I seeing how the look the aesthetics match the food

I came here 06/30/23 at around 12 pm. Let me just say the service is pretty good but the ebt part is misleading because my ebt card didn’t work here. Anyways I wish it did cause that was a waste of $15. The only thing that was good to me was the shrimp and the side of hot sauce/ tartar sauce. My fish was swimming in oil to the point to where it wasn’t even crispy!! As I picked the fish up it was so soggy and if I squeezed it, so much oil would drip out. The fries were so salty and soggy, cornbread muffin was just gross. Idk if it was just a bad day, but for me it was 0/10, I don’t recommend. The staff in the back was also arguing and fighting over something, that could be the reason to why my food wasn’t cooked good but hey I won’t be returning.

The atmosphere as well as the service was nice. But the fish was fried too hard, I didn't like the tempura on the shrimp and the chicken was salty. The French fries were delicious though. Not sure what the rest of the menu taste like so I will try before I'm

So I came upon this spot while traveling down Artesia on my way to get a carwash. Since there's so much construction right now, I was driving slow and noticed this place because I wasn't allowed to turn into the carwash and had to pass it.Intrigued by the name, I decided to look them up online and check them out.Called to place my order, and the lady on the other end was polite, had a warm voice, and was patient with me - big plus for customer service!!!Now... the fish and shrimp! It reminded me of the down-home fish frys in my grandmother's backyard as a child and teen. Perfectly seasoned and cooked with homemade tarter and some hot sauce on the side. The owners, "T" (Damnnit I forgot his name) and Heather were great!!!!I'll be back for sure.Keep doing what ya'll are doing.

Ordered for the first time from Ernestine's Family Fish Market (newly owners) for the family today and will be the last time I spend my money there. The food was disappointing to say the least. The fried fish had so much batter on it, yet the fish was soft and greasy. The shrimp was salty and the worst were the sides. I ordered several sides that ended up going to waste because every side was just nasty. Not to mention the sides came in small containers, the size one would receive for a large side of salad dressing & at almost $4 each. The Mac & cheese was so runny and so orange that my children thought they were small cups of orange juice. The greens were horrid, the potato salad and macaroni salad was a miss as well and I had bought 4 of each sides because they were so small, just to go directly into the trash. It was a total waste of money. I wanted to like this place because I used to buy from the previous owners. I couldn't have been more wrong. The only way I would ever come back is if the old owners were to come back.

Tried this place today. Everything was hot and fresh but I didn't like the batter, greens or the fact that I paid for 2 sides and only got 1. Tried calling but phone goes to v/m.

3.5. Truly not bad at all. Price fit portions given. Seasoned well. Hot. Tasty. Shrimps were delicious. Definitely would get shrimps again. Sandab filets were plentiful just a little too greasy with a slight fishy aftertaste. Nothing hotsauce and that bomb tartersauce can't cover. Sandab, hush puppies and shrimps combo roughly $18

The shrimp and the fries were great. The red snapper was also good. Everything was seasoned just right
