I ordered two catfish dinners and the fish was spoiled. Very disappointed drove all the way from Fullerton.

Wasn’t good. Fish needs more seasoning and the batter fell off the fried jumbo shrimp.

This is my 3rd or 4th time visiting and I felt compelled to leave a review this time. The owner and his wife are sooo incredibly nice and friendly. My food is always fresh, seasoned to perfection and delicious. Today, I had the Lobster fries and all I have to say is I will only eat lobster from here from now on. Absolutely my favorite lobster. My fried shrimp and fish was on point as usual. Thank You for a wonderful Sunday dinner.

The food is amazing at this place .. You can pick out your fish and take it home or they cook it right there. The owners Krissy & Judah treat you like family here at Ernestine's

Ordered for the first time from Ernestine's Family Fish Market (newly owners) for the family today and will be the last time I spend my money there. The food was disappointing to say the least. The fried fish had so much batter on it, yet the fish was soft and greasy. The shrimp was salty and the worst were the sides. I ordered several sides that ended up going to waste because every side was just nasty. Not to mention the sides came in small containers, the size one would receive for a large side of salad dressing & at almost $4 each. The Mac & cheese was so runny and so orange that my children thought they were small cups of orange juice. The greens were horrid, the potato salad and macaroni salad was a miss as well and I had bought 4 of each sides because they were so small, just to go directly into the trash. It was a total waste of money. I wanted to like this place because I used to buy from the previous owners. I couldn't have been more wrong. The only way I would ever come back is if the old owners were to come back.

I had been craving some fried fish for a few months. A friend of mine had referred me to this place. When I got there,I found out that they was new owners. I should have went with my first thought. To leave. I ordered a 3c snapper with 5medium shrimp but were small. It came with fries, for 17.50,2pc Talapia (2sm strips w fries, 10.45, 10 pc party wings w fries 16.50. Left out paying 50.00 Now, if the food was good, the price would not be an issue. But, the food was not so good,no flavor. At least , not what I expected, batter was coming off the shrimp, didn't like the taste at all.. None of the food was crispy As it looked. Fries were soggy. Very disappointed, and will NOT be returning. And the chicken taste like it was fried in old grease. Smelled good but no...But customer service was great. Sorry but just being honest.

We ordered the meal for 2 and it was more than enough food. The onion rings are amazing, the potato salad has a great balance of tang and creaminess, and the fried shrimp and fish were beyond flavorful with a light coating of batter.I'm always warry about ordering the banana pudding because many times the taste just isnt there BUT hands down one of the best I've ever had.The lady that took our order was the sweetest and gave us great recommendations. We are going back this week to try breakfast

The Mexi-chicks wings were outstanding, the catfish nuggets were mouthwatering, and the Churro waffles melt in your mouth! I'm definitely going back!!!

This place is the best...no Excellent fish place for "You Buy we Fry" off the Cherry Blvd on the 91 fwy. Ernestine's Family Fish Market. Please go and support a nice young Black man. I will give it 5 Stars. And some great sides, like Collard Greens, homemade potatoes salad. Yeah ...go and let me see your comments.

The shrimp and the fries were great. The red snapper was also good. Everything was seasoned just right

We waited 45 minutes for 2 little pieces of fish and an order of j*** shrimp. Several people from outside were allowed into the kitchen while they were cooking food. A worker came from outside, went into the kitchen, then came and started moving fish around in the front cooler with his bare hands. VERY unsanitary! I'm thinking about reporting them to the department of health. The portion size was ridiculously small. We paid $12 for 2 little pieces of fish a a small container of Mac salad. Will NOT be returning here.
