This is not a typical Mexican restaurant. I ordered Camarones a la Diabla and it is the first time I have tried this dish prepared with habanero pepper and the flavor surprised me because it was different and delicious. They are famous for their Carnitas. Here in Auburn there are not many options to eat and this restaurant is the beat option. The service was excellent, I sat at the bar.

This restaurant, located in a strip mall, works to highlight its Mexican dishes. From the decor, to many of the dishes, to even the name, one would think Mexican restaurant - and it is, but with extras. We went with the fish tacos and the lunch burrito with steak. The burrito was great, and everything we expected from a Mexican restaurant. The fish tacos were something a bit different - deep fried and served with slaw in a soffit tortilla. It was South meets further South. It was good.

We LOVE this place! The service is great & the food is fabulous! You can really tell the ingredients are fresh. My brother is a vegetarian & when we took him their they had options for him too. Family friendly & the prices are good!

Staff has always been cheerful and helpful. Atmosphere is nice 80's music. Food has nothing to offer the palette. They need to visit surrounding competition to see what they have to offer. This place could be a winner. Needs cooking guidance though.

Taco Tuesday is the way to go. My hubby is a big eater and we can fill Him up for less than $5 AND the tacos are good. Fully loaded and super tasty chicken or beef tacos. Of course you can eat off the menu anytime. The shrimp and fish tacos are exceptional good. I hear they make great margarita' s also

A variety of choices on menu. Specials during the week. Even with all these benefits the prices are cheap for the quality. I choose the numbered dishes usually but the menu is extensive.
