I am not a food truck fan in general. Maybe two or three times a year I go to one, but it was raining and cold and there was one at the front door so tonight was Food Truck Night, and an overcooked, overpriced burger with too many fries would be just fine.SO WHAT A THRILL TO DISCOVER ITALIA ON THE ROAD instead. The tastiest lasagna I have ever had, with a fresh salad I was too full to eat.The bread and chocolate chip canolis, which I did have time for, were good enough to write about. So I am. Wonderful dinner.Equally important if not more so, ANGELO and SOLENT, the Truck's partners in life and lasagna, were so kind and warm and genuine that my dinner experience soared to really special heightsThey are cover-model captivating, both of them; without a touch of conceit. The food tonight was exceptional, and my experience unparalleled , .in that great way when life occasionally makes the ordinary extraordinaryPeople worth knowing, food worth tasting, and a small business worth supporting. ITALIA ON THE ROAD.Dinner is served (see photo).Buon appetito.

This trucks comes to our apartment and we love it! We’ve tried half the menu and half the desserts. The food is so delicious and hand made, I can’t imagine how delicious it is in Italy!

Most food trucks are pretty good, but this truck was great. Food tasted fresh, and the flavors are not overdone. I’m glad I ate here, and I plan to be waiting crubside next time they come through. And the girl taking my order has an amazing smile.

They stopped by my office building and I didn't have lunch. Got the gnocchi with chicken and marinara sauce. The chicken was tender and okay, and there were gnocchi that felt overcooked. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the food truck was nice. All in all, I would give it another try but order another item.

Okay a food truck that sells pasta! If you love pasta and love supporting local businesses, this is a great one! Fantastic flavors and amazing pasta! The only downside is the prices are a little high, but overall amazing pasta.

Quite possibly one of the best mushroom based pastas I've ever tasted. 10/10. Also came with bread and salad which I appreciated. Pricey but the taste was worth it.

Angelo and Solene are two of the nicest people I've met who have a food truck. They've come to my apartment complex three times and I've had the opportunity to try their eggplant parmesan, gnocchi, and their ravioli. Angelo makes his grandmother's marinara sauce and it's delicious. This couple is very conscientious about using only ingredients from Italy. Everything I had was great! I'm hoping sometime in the future they'll add some salads and/or veggies to their menu.

expensive and dosent look like pictures. the lady has 0 costumer service. she suggested something i should try and i ended up not liking it. bland taste literally disgusting. i come back to inform her and she tells me it’s “not her problem i don’t like spinach” instead of saying how can i fix this. the price difference for lasagna was $4 and she wouldn’t let me pay that because “it’s not her fault” so after alll this she’s finally like okay i can charge you for the cheapest thing on the menu which is a salad. what sense would that make if i didn’t even eat the food and i already payed you $23?! At that you’re parked on a community college campus where kids already struggle. She basically wanted me to pay $35 for food instead of just taking the food i said i wasn’t gon eat, throwing it away, and letting me pay $4 for another meal so i can eat before class. this truck shouldn’t even be on campus anymore at lbcc honestly. oh yea she even said “even the menu is in english so idk how u didn’t see” just rude

One of my all-time favorite food trucks! Fresh made pasta! Recipes from Milano. The pasta and dishes remind me of Italy. I love the lasagna, tagliatelle fungi and bolognese, and the best eggplant parmigiana. Awesome service and an all around amazing experience. Basically the best Italian food you can find. Highly recommend!!

This review is for their location in Long Beach - they're here on Fridays opposite the Chase Bank location on Ocean.I stopped here after I'd seen them on Google Maps and was curious to try them out; after calling to confirm their location, I walked over after work to grab some tasty food and they did not disappoint. They serve fresh pasta and their ingredients are straight from Italy, so that's why the prices are equivalent to sit-down prices. These kind of dishes, with the fresh pasta, must be eaten right away because they are deliciousWhat I got:- Tagliatelle Ragù alla Bolognese: House-made pasta with house-made ragú sauce with ground beef, pork, Italian red wine and italian tomatoes. Simmered slowly to develop a deep and savory flavor. $18This was so delicious, flavourful, and - most importantly for me - filling! I absolutely recommend getting this. The portion of pasta to Bolognese was just perfect - I managed to get a bunch of it with every bite. This is it - if there's one dish you get, make it this one!- Ravioli Ricotta & Spinaci con Burro e Salvia - Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli with butter and sage: Our hand-made Ravioli are filled with a blend of fresh spinach, creamy ricotta cheese, and a hint of nutmeg and lemon zest for added depth of flavor. Served with a simple yet delicious butter and sage sauce. $18I was really craving brown butter and sage, but sadly this left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't get this if you're looking for that deep brown butter, fresh sage, and ricotta flavouring. It fell flat for me; didn't get any hint of nutmeg or lemon zest unfortunately.- COPPA ALLA NUTELLA: A luscious and velvety dessert made with layers of Nutella mousse and cookie crumbs, topped with whipped cream and Nutella sauce. $8Absolutely loved this; it's Nutella and you cna't really go wrong with it, especially when paired with whipped cream. The couple who run this are very kind; I believe the guy is from Rome.Since they are a food truck, it took maybe less than 10 minutes for everything to be prepared; there's an additional service fee for use Square/card, so just be aware of that. Given where they are, I walked, but parking can be tricky; if you must, park at Pike Outlets or on PIne and walk tothem. If you want, you can sit and eat at the park nearby, or walk towards the Convention Centre, or even the beach!I do recommend this place, but keep in mind the prices, the need to eat the food right away (because it's all fresh), and the service charge for card transactions - they are worth the splurge!I'm excited to come back and try their other dolcis (desserts) and pasta dishes, especially Tagliatelle alla Crema di Funghi (Tagliatelle with Mushrooms Cream Sauce) and the Gnocchi Gorgonzola, Speck & Noci (Gnocchi with Blue Cheese, Speck and Walnuts).(Update: Didn't realise the rating was 4 instead of 5, so fixing that.)

I'm a local in Long Beach, I love my city! So one day I'm riding my bike a long Ocean Blvd. and I see an Italian food truck. So I stop and looked at the menu. I met Angelo and his wife Solene, nicest couple ever, he's from Rome. So I ordered ravioli, FRESH PASTA! Got home with it, Omg so delicious, portions were perfect, flavors were incredible. The next time I went and ordered eggplant parmigiana, now my nana was from Calabria, the best eggplant parmigiana ever, this was just as good if not better, she's probably screaming from the heavens right now, I will deal with that later. I love, love, love this food truck and wish the best for them both. Very hardworking. Keep up the good work! Ciao

This food truck is amazing! Growing up with our grandmas Italian food, everything this food truck serves tastes authentic and fresh! We have tried the eggplant parmigiana and Tagliatelle Ragù alla Bolognese and both tasted amazing. My new favorite dessert would have to be Coppa Al pistachio which has sweet and nutty flavors. Unlike anything I've ever had! The service from the owners is beyond compare, they are so appreciative of anyone supporting their business and are super nice!
