Stopped off here for a night cap and some dessert. Sunday evening which didn't seemed as crowded as I thought it would be. But people didn't trickle in throughout our visit. First off, service was slow. Short staff or just slow. There was one person at the bar and another that seemed to be working the floor. He seemed like the only one taking everyone's order. We didn't wanted to make things to complicated as there was few of us. Everything on one bill. Ordered a couple of drinks and a few of the dessert as well as a side of fries. Drinks did take a little while as it was only one person working the bar area. The sweets come out shortly afterwards. Service was nice from the waiter but it was slow. Side of fries was never brought out but did check to see if it was added to bill which wasn't. The place is quite nice, great vibe and part of the Marriott hotel I believe. Location, right in the heart of downtown Long Beach. A big ground is arrive after us but with the lack of staff, they were debating on wither of staying or leaving. As no one seemed to acknowledge their party. Took a while. Coming back, maybe for drinks.

Excellent food fast service. Staff very friendly. It is my go to for eggs Benedict. The inside is an old school house. Outside tables.

Ambience: 10/10Spacious, lots of seating, clean and very beautiful inside and out.Service: 9/10It works very differently here and I’m not the hugest fan. You order from the bar and then sit down wherever you can find. Luckily for me it wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday and I found seating right away. The girl who helped me was very nice and recommended a few popular items. She also delivered my food very promptly (I was surprised how fast it came out).No one stops to check on you, it’s self serve with coffee and water. You have to keep reordering drinks if you want anything from the bar. So it’s not your sit down and enjoy your meal kind of restaurant. You order and then are left to fend for yourself kind of thing. It’s not awful, but not what I was expecting either.0No flavor, none whatsoever. I had the breakfast sandwich which came with cubed potatoes. Salt and pepper added to the sandwhich didn’t help, the ketchup couldn’t save the stale/stiff fried potato cubes.. I would hate to rate this place based off one meal, but it was so bland. I ate the sandwich due to hunger but left the potatoes alone. Dennys has better food to be honest.Ambience and service were perfect, but the food was a huge miss. May try again in the far future. Also kind of crazy that they close at noon, most brunch locations are open until 2pm.

Horrible place. Don’t bother. Food was sub par and it took for ever to get a beer. And took forever to get the check. Go someplace else. Disappointed as a Titanium member at Marriott.

Stopped in for drinks with the wife. Grabbed dessert for the kids and ourselves. Nice atmosphere, live music, decent prices (happy hour). Servers were nice and prompt. Desserts were tasty. Meals smelled and looked good but didn't partake. Nice experience.

Friday night 7pm...lovely live musicians playing. Thought it would be the perfect vibe.... No one bothered to seat us. So we sat ourselves. The bar was busy but there was no sign of a waiter or waitress. I wandered around to a random table to grab a menu. We waited another 20min and no one helped us. Don't go here.

Sat with friends on the back patio which has plexiglass shielding the breeze while laving a view of the water, and great heaters. Excellent drinks and appetizers. And very good

If your staying at the Marriott don’t waste your time trying to place a mobile order. After several attempts, the Marriott front desk said,”Whoops, sorry Mobile Order doesn’t work” I order a Quesadilla and Apple Cobbler in person and only waited about 10 minutes for my order. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The Chicken, Bacon (?) Quesadilla was good and filling. I may be a bad judge of the Apple Cobbler because I make a Mean Cobbler so to me it was just So So. I tasted a little burnt. Overall food was good. I took it to my room to eat but restaurant looks great!

Good breakfast spot with an open layout, was disappointed on how my quesadilla tasted, but everything else was good, would stick to the French toast and breakfast sandwiches for this place.

Our server Jesse was amazing! The food and cocktails were also great! Jesse was the server and the bartender. They need more staff but despite the staffing issue Jesse did it all with a great, friendly personality. Cudos Jesse! I will definitely be back.

Extremely slow service. Even when promised 10 minutes it took 30 minutes to wait and find out that the order is messed. And another 20 minutes for replacement. All this happened in 5% load of a whole bistro. 5-7 persons! No excuse no apologies from personal.... It looks nobody cares about customers!

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and stopped in at this restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner with a wonderful selection of food options and drinks. But our bartender Jesse was over the top!! Was busy but food was great(wings/Caesar salad with grilled chicken) and Jesse gave some suggestions on when to request Uber not around serge rates. They had live music, which was awesome (played a lot of Santana, guitar). On the next trip out, will be looking forward to having a few drinks and dinner here!! Thanks so much.
