was in a hurry to pick up my daughter from school, which made me leave behind $100 worth of hair products from Sally and the establishment claimed that nobody turned it in. I left it at the front counter so how is it that nobody turned it in shady establishment, not honest can’t complain about the food

I’ve been coming to this location since forever and after a year and a half I came and I’m disappointed my chicken katsu was undercooked I couldn’t even take a bite of it the only pieces that were good were the edges which was mostly breading . Didn’t end up eating it cause I don’t wanna get sick. My money went down the drain.

Very disappointed.Haven't been here in a while and I picked food up today 2 beef plates. The beef is very dry and the salty. I threw some teriyaki sauce intop to help out with the saltiness but it's on the saltyside as well and SUPER watery like it just goes to the bottom it doesn't stay on the beef . Not coming back I'll just make the drive to ono Hawaiian from now on .

Bbq ribs were not fully cooked, fried shrimp was not fully cooked. I was able to taste the batter instead of the crunch. Smh so disappointing. Norwalk location is 10/10 this location needs to shut down or teach the cooks how to properly cook their food.

Making an order for pick-up was Easy, Breezy via phone call. Just your name and phone number to confirm. Im pleased for the convenience. The transaction went smooth, and back on the road, I went. I always experienced quality and deliciousness from here, BUT today, 02/19/24, I was disappointed. My Short Rib was literally short from having any meat on it besides the bones. Everything else was delicious, including their macaroni and rice. Their beef and chicken were flavorful as usual. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Meal: 1. BBQ Mix A mouthwatering combination of succulent beef, chicken, and short ribs Besides the disappointing short ribs, everything was delicious and satisfying as always. Rich in flavor and good combination when eating all together like a dynamic burst. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is spacious and easy access. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

First time here, should have ordered something else. L&L Drive-Inn in Maui was the first time I discovered Hawaiian Mixed Plate as a cuisine, living in Wisconsin but traveling to Maui or Oahu once a year for vacation. We loved it...the rice was exactly the medium grain sticky style that I liked, and they mixed different Far East flavors along with Hawaiian. It was only much later that I learned L&L's are also on the mainland, and we go whenever possible. I stopped in for lunch by myself on a late Saturday afternoon. It was fairly busy, with a lot of phone orders coming in. It seems to be owned by a Cambodian family (which makes sense being in the heart of Long Beach), but the menu is classic L&L. It's a large menu, with Saimin and Musubi. Unluckily for me, I saw Garlic Shrimp on the Menu and decided to order that. You place and pay for your order upfront, and they will call your number when ready. I did order that regular size Garlic Shrimp mixed plate ($13.39) and it was ready about 8 minutes later. All orders come in styrofoam to-go containers (even those dine-in...this is how they do it in Hawaii...recycling doesn't seem to be a top priority there). They will give you a small water cup if requested, and there is a water dispenser near the beverage refrigerator. There is also a self-serve soda fountain with Pepsi products. The plate came with 2 scoops of white rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. All good. I was HOPING for an approximation of garlic shrimp served from shrimp trucks in Oahu and Maui...or even what is served in other parts of long beach. But this was two shelled shrimp battered together and deep fried, served on a bed of shredded cabbage with a bit of garlic butter and couple chunks of pineapple. The funny thing is that the garlic butter tasted very good, with minced garlic throughout. But the double shrimp idea produced a lot of doughy breading between the shrimps causing gumminess. It wasn't good. My wife and daughter have had good experiences here, so I'm sure it was the dish I ordered. There are so many other things that I like, so will eat here again when in the area...just not Garlic shrimp.

Girl cashier with black ponytail gave us terrible attitude, acting bothered for just trying to order. The Ambiance inside feels hostile and tense, no music playing and awkward silence. I would suggest ordering ahead coming in and leaving. Won't be returning here ever again for how uncomfortable I feel in this so called food establishment.

Idc what anyone says this food is delicious. They serve great portions and lots of flavor. I do add my own green onions and hot sauce on the take out. Yum.

I am obsessed with this place! The only thing I dislike is the wait time for food but I have learned to be patient because its always delicious. I have yet to dine in, I always do take out and it's packaged perfectly with generous portions.
