one of my new favorite spots in Long Beach. So far l've tried the Baja fish tacos 10/10! & the pollo asado bowl, the chicken was well seasoned & flavorful. They also have freshly homemade corn tortillas. I definitely want to try more items from La Chancla. Also love the authenticity/ aesthetic & great service.

Thank you! It was fantastic! The quesabirria was my favorite - that taco shell was fluffy and a lil crunchy at the same time ?loved it. The keto taco was also surprisingly satisfying, I didn’t miss the tortilla shell at all and it made it easier to enjoy how flavorful the meat was ? The fish taco did need more crunch to it - maybe a different batter to really bring it home - bc the flavor of the fish was there! A lot of times when I get a fish taco, either the batter is amazing and giving what it needs to in terms of texture BUT the inside of the fish is under-seasoned. Yours was the opposite, flavor was great, just needed some more crunchy texture Overall I really enjoyed everything! I’ll definitely tell friends to come & I’ll be back!

The food was amazing, the tortillas are homemade and smell so good. Seating indoor and outdoor area available. Alcohol available for purchase, aguas frescas, churros, and flan. Restaurant is a hidden gem, plenty of parking, and Ismael (staff) was super friendly.

Such good food! I especially loved the queso birria tacos (I got mine with soyrizo) and mango agua fresco, but there are many options to play with. The staff is helpful and quick to check in. There are a few seats inside with a tv playing Spanish music, or you could sit at tables outside.

This place is really good and one my new LBC favorites. I got the veggie soyrizo quesadilla and my wife got the same in tacos. Delicious. The food is very rich, so prepare for that. Cool staff too.

I was in the area and wanted a quick bite but nothing too heavy... pulled up the Yelp app and it lead me here. We arrived around 8:30 on Saturday night and there was only another family dining. Parking: 5/5 in a huge lot next to North Gate si parking is a non issue.Food: 5/5 We decided to try some tacos Baja shrimp, birria, spicy shrimp and gobernador and boy I'm glad we did. They are made with tortillas he has a mano and they're pretty big! It had some delicious tasty salsas and it's garnishments! No need for extra salsas. The shrimp gobernador came in threes $12 and the tortillas were a little fried with melted cheese really really tasty! I took some nachos home and ate them later on. Prices are less than regular so about 4 dollars per taco. We got our agua Fresca with our check in. Super refreshing. Ambiance: 5/5 it's not a full restaurant but more of a quick meal. No frills just straight to the point! It's a decorated with lots of cute indigenous curtains and has a picture of mom with the chancla. I was glad I stopped by. This will be a place I would definitely come back to if I'm in the area! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!
