Fabulous as always

Love that I can customize my smoothie orders.I loved the "chocolate dream" but they stopped offering it.However, they're gracious about making a smoothie close to that:*nut milk*cacao nibs*dark chocolate powder*dates*frozen blue berries*agave nectar (but I pass on this)*protein powder (or cashews, if available)Now they put peanut butter on the sides of the 24oz cup.Sometimes it's a tough choice: a hearty, delish lunch at Nomad's or a Nektar smoothie? (same price point) Both delicious choices. Bon apetit!

Manager is amazing she has excellent customer service skills. She is not afraid to jump in and help out.

Stopped here with our grandson after his swimming lesson. Tried the mango smoothie. $12 for a large smoothie is a little higher than most places. It tasted good and the service was great, but It's a little too pricey compared to the competitors that are closer to my home.

Some of the stores closed in this center. So I wonder to nektar to get a refresher. The lady was very helpful, I never being to nektar (that I can remember tbh, sometimes my friends take me to their favorite spot and I am distracted by the fun we are having). She gave me suggestions since I am not a cashew milk person. Very nice and detail. The place looked very clean, has Mario Bros everywhere and I went a bit crazy, lol.

This store seems to be extremely poorly managed. The tall woman who appears to the manager quite literally stood there on her phone in the doorway for the last 20 minutes rather than assisting the other girls in the store that were making all of the orders. The only time she seemed to do anything was to berate the other employees instead of helping anyone. My order took forever and I should have honestly just gotten a refund and left but I didn't care to interact with the manager or pull one of clearly stressed out employees off of what they were doing.

Came in at 2pm on 12/26. There were 2 girls working. Wasn't greeted or acknowledged, the girls continued chatting about their social lives while a line formed behind me. After about 10 minutes of hearing their personal drama, one of the employees finally turned around to greet me. By that time, I just decided to order online, so I let her know I ordered and sat down to wait. She didn't apologize for the wait time or anything, just said ok. The woman behind me orders and of course, she gets her order out first. As I see them making my order, they placed a topping that wasn't supposed to be on according to my order. She didn't tell me or acknowledge her mistake, she just hid the bowl with her body and removed the topping. This wouldn't be an issue, but at this point I just felt like i couldn't trust them with my food. My order was then placed on the counter, without any word from either employee. It also didn't have a label so I wasn't sure if it was mine. My boyfriend then stepped in to ask if it was mine. The girls turned to each other and seemed confused, when it was very clearly my order. I am honestly shocked at the lack of basic manners and common courtesy I experienced. These girls don't even deserve the minimum wage they're earning. Nékter is too good for s*** employees.

I always order the Almond Butter Health Nut smoothie ($12), the Greenie juice ($10), or The Pink Flamingo ($10) depending on my mood. It would be usually after a Pilates or boot camp class, I'd succumb to ordering from here to either flush myself out or to drink something as a quick meal replacement. I haven't had the bowls, but I'm sure they're good. Service can take a minute sometimes. Some people do mobile orders. Parking is free.

I'm a regular at this location and generally have never had any issues with customer service or my order but today I placed a mobile order set for 12:30 and when I mentioned I was picking up the order, the young women immediately had an attitude and was rude, assuming my order was the one she was working on which it wasn't. I shrugged it off. I had ordered a health nut with strawberries that I couldn't tell if it had any added to it, but also got a berry chia parfait and was disappointed that there was hardly any chia pudding this time, and was mostly granola. I usually get the chia parfaits and they're generally filled atleast half way so I left rather disappointed when I saw how little I was give . I wish it was more consistent...

I like the Long Beach Nekter. However, I also despise the Long Beach Nekter. It's very possible since there are two Nekter Juice Bars in Long Beach. This one is at Long Beach Marketplace on the southeast corner of PCH and 2nd (NOT 2nd and PCH lol), and the other is by the traffic circle, which I've been to (and reviewed) before. I've enjoyed my visits to the traffic circle location, so needless to say, I was very surprised how underwhelming my visit to the Marketplace Nekter was. After my lunch at Corner Bakery Cafe in the same plaza, I stopped by Nekter to redeem one of my rewards. For the month of October, Nekter was having a promotion where they were offering 16 oz Pink Flamingos for $5 each as a way to raise awareness and possibly funds for Breast Cancer research. When I opened the Nekter app, I noticed I had that reward, but it was going to expire that same day! Since I hadn't had a Pink Flamingo before, I decided to go for that. I didn't care what was in the Pink Flamingo or how much it usually costs sans reward; I just wanted to redeem the reward before it expired. A Pink Flamingo consists of dragon fruit, strawberry, pineapple, coconut water, and agave nectar. Even though I don't like coconut water, I thought I wouldn't have tasted much of it compared to all the other ingredients, which I like, but unfortunately, I think the coconut water overpowered everything else! When I got the smoothie, it was wayyyyy too watered down, and I honestly could barely taste any of the other flavors mentioned. The normal price of a 16 oz Pink Flamingo is $7.55, so I'm glad I got to save 1/3 from that reward, but even with that, I am *not* paying $5 for another cup of coconut water! I didn't have to wait long for my smoothie. It was probably 2 minutes, which might explain why the smoothie wasn't blended well. I would have been willing to wait another 2 minutes for a smoothie of the same taste and quality as one I would get from the traffic circle. This smoothie simply sucked. I absolutely loathed every sip of that drink, and I didn't see any frothy texture until I was practically done. While I was waiting, I saw some Nekter coupons for $1 off and $2 off, but only at the Long Beach Nekter. This goes back to my intro because I thought that meant those coupons could have worked at the traffic circle location since the fine print simply said, "Long Beach Nekter". However, when I asked, I was told those coupons would only work at this Nekter since it had the address on the card. Problem is, if I were to cut out the coupons and toss the rest of the card, I could make a valid argument that it should work for the traffic circle location since that is within the City of Long Beach. I joined Nekter's rewards program so I could hopefully score some good deals on food and drinks that will better my health. I did the same for Robek's, which also has a location by the traffic circle. As a matter of fact, I had a $1 off coupon for Robek's that expired the same day as the $5 Pink Flamingo at Nekter. Even though I saved more at Nekter than I would have at Robek's, I really should have gone to Robek's instead. I've enjoyed my visits to both Robek's and Nekter at the traffic circle so much that I can't see either serving something as pitiful as the Pink Flamingo. Or rather, Pink-tiful Fail-amingo would be a better name for that drink lol. They also don't have a Yelp check-in offer, but the traffic circle location does have one for a free ginger or turmeric shot. Even more of a reason to never make a return visit to this Marketplace location. I know my review sounds pretty brutal, but I would have absolutely no objections whatsoever if Robek's were to replace Nekter at Long Beach Marketplace in the near future, but that probably won't take place as long as there is another Robek's at Cal State Long Beach.

So sad. I've written rave reviews of this location three times! This location used to be the gold standard and I've visited a lot of Nekter stores! I stopped by today and was surprised to experience something so different. There was no one greeting or taking orders. I was ignored until I asked them about my phone order. They messed up someone's order ahead of me and didn't apologize (she was clearly annoyed). Three other people continuously asked them about their orders. I watched these two staff members work like molasses while muttering to each other and giggling-- and then one would look up on occasion and just say, "we're working as fast as we can" which was insincere and not true from my time waiting and watching them. A third staff made more of an effort but then she disappeared to the back. Those two seemed very young, maybe it was thief first day but it wasn't a great experience. There needs to be a manager there. It definitely makes me think twice about returning since there are a lot of options for their products in the area.

I believe my order was taken by the manager who asked as I walked into the shop today, in front of all of the customers, "Do you want a tip?". I said sure, thinking she was going to share a menu recommendation, but instead said that they were running behind and there'd be a 15 minute wait and if I was fine with that. To which I responded that it was ok with that and she proceeded to take my a order right after. I asked if I would only be able to order from the fixed bowls in the menu or if I would be able to select the ingredients I wanted in my bowl, as is the case is other similar establishments. She said I was able to custom make my own bowl and and began to ask for specific in a condescending tone. I understood that they were busy but needed the information inquired to be able to place my order as quickly as possible. When I finally made my selection of ingredients she went on to say how I sad selected the same items that is in one of the fixed bowls in the menu, again, in a disrespectful tone and loud enough for all other customers to hear, including my nephew who was standing a few feet away by the entrance. I tried as quickly as posible to finalize the transaction to move on. I am providing a 3 star review because of the other staff that did a good job preparing my bowl, otherwise I'd give this business a 1 star review due to this negative experience. Needless to say, I will never return to this business.

I hate those smoothies that are too chunky or too sweet. This was a perfectly balanced and well rounded smoothie! Here's why: WHAT WE ORDERED Mango Delight Smoothie: * As my boyfriend describes it, "Tastes like an actual mango but without the inconvenience of the mango fibers or strands in between my teeth." It's naturally sweet but it's satiating rather than the type of sweetness that induces hunger later on. Regular size costs $9.50, or 10.20 after tax (I think), so that's the only downside. But it's arguably worth it for the quality. Agave Compostable Straws: * Ok this is such an awesome little perk! I was curious about their straws being bumpy inside but it's because they're made from agave and they're compostable. How cool?? I even asked where I can get them online for myself at home and the manager or owner gave me some for free!! How amazingly sweet? I'm 100% coming back now; their generosity is unmatched. Overall, it's tasty and we're coming back for another. For the price we probably won't come back daily, but still worth coming here occasionally. ***UPDATE*** Response to owner: Thank you for letting me know!! I'll definitely download it then. Also thank you guys for being so kind and generous about everything!

Staff are rude. Hire new people who will treat you like human beings. Staff said they had to charge for something else, but it was higher price. No brains.
