I went with my family to have a late lunch, it was going when we got there but when we order are dishes they gave us the wrong things and then told us that is was correct we check the menu ended up having the wrong name. So we told them we did not want it and charged us a fee for that dish. When we were half way through our lunch the waiters were making us leave by giving us the check have way through are food not even close to done and ask if we wanted I to- go cup. When we were about to leave we left no tip cause of our experience when we were leaving they stop us and told us that the bill did not include tip and we said we know and started to walk out the people followed us out and kept looking at us to make sure we left. They also keep rolling there eyes and kept whispering to eachother while we were leaving. We like this place but if there services is this rude next time we go we will not be returning.

To start off, it's not our first time here. However today Drew the line for my family and I to go back to this restaurant. First off I order Filet Mignon with black pepper. It was covered with some much MSG. my son who's 18 got a bad reaction to it. He started to gasp for air. Luckily my wife had Benadryl.. Also I had ordered their Walnut Shrimp and only 4-5 shrimps. I know we're in a minor recession, but come on now for a $21 plate.. please .... I ordered Snow peas with Garlic and they brought me green beans with garlic.. Seriously... While we were still eating and nowhere to be finished eating. The waitress brought me the check, and asked if I wanted any boxes, and a to go cup for my coke... I felt rushed, and as if they were kicking us out of the restaurant... No WHERE in this restaurant or in this Country it tells me I'm required to leave a Tip for a family of 4... The manager came out after my wife and daughter asking for their tip. My wife said you don't deserve it. The service and food was lousy... where's their education and etiquette on Customer service.... Remember Nomad if you want your customers to be happy, you must provide exceptional service... Your Service and Attitude make your TIPS ....

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Manager is really rude and aggressive , yelled at me and my family for being 5 mins late than our reserved time. I’ve never heard someone with so much aggression in the hospitality business, that to for being 5 mins late. Service has gone down a lot since the city closed them down because of health hazards. Owners of the restaurant need to look at their staffing and consider getting them trained on hospitality, especially since the closure of the restaurant! Will definitely be going to other halal Chinese restaurants in SoCal, there’s plenty.

The handmade noodles were the best ever... reminded me of beef chowfun with better noodles... loved the orange peeled beef as well... I did miss not having my sweet and sour pork... will be back

This restaurant is located in a shopping center basically filled with more vacancies than businesses, especially in the area where they're at. Now next door to the restaurant is going through construction, so it makes things even worse. The interior of the restaurant is in dire need of renovations and repairs. There's stucco patches all over and discolored spots throughout. The dining room is spacious, but the concrete floors just reverberate all the noise. The menu is packed full of various items to select from, plus there's lunch specials. Lunch specials include rice and soup. All the dishes are cooked to order with fresh ingredients, so there can be delays in getting some of your dishes. The broccoli chicken has a very tasty sauce which compliments your rice. The broccoli is crisp and has a nice crunch to it. Service is excellent and the staff continuous stops by to refill beverages and provide extra napkins and/or clear plates. Which is nice to see they appreciate your business.

I enjoyed the curry fried rice we ordered. We also ordered cashew nut chicken and asparagus beef. These entrees were decent. I've had better, but I've also had much worse. I plan to come back and try other dishes.

You need to resolve your RESTROOM ISSUE! It is NOT sanitary to have only ONE restroom for a facility that is always with a full! Honestly this issue needs to be RESOLVED ASAP! Someone is bound to have an accident! Call a PLUMBER & FIX THIS ISSUE! Or someone is bound to call THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH!

We live in the area and have said for years "we need to try Nomad" - well, we finally did at the behest of quite a few people mentioning it to us the last week or so. The food was great and each meal could've fed 3 people easily. Great spot if you're in the mood for Chinese food. Definitely tops my list in the LB area

This was my first time here. From the parking lot, I walked past a vacant patio area with strewn tables and stacked up chairs up to a door with an "open" sign. Upon entering I was greeted with a 5 gallon bucket to my right which had some dry food and trash tossed in it. To the left of it was a stool balancing a floor rug which was thrown on top of it. I questioned my dinner mate if we went through the correct door. We were both puzzled. I then noticed this mess was right next to a vacant host stand. At that moment, a waiter quickly approached us and led us to a window table. I felt uneasy after my first impression. The place had quite a few tables filled with customers. Otherwise, I probably would have walked out because I just didn't get a good feeling of cleanliness. I decided to stay since I did not see a sign posted by the health department. The waiter was prompt, service was good, food came out fast. I was hoping they would bring complimentary tea to the table, but this Chinese establishment does not do that. As I was finishing my meal, I happened to glance out the window, and my eyes lowered down to the ledge, which turned my stomach a bit. I took a photo to share. This was a few days worth of dried up food and dirt. To my right I looked up and noticed a glistening spiderweb hanging from the dusty lightbulbs. I took another photo to share. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. The honey walnut shrimp was $21.50 which didn't seem worth the price for the portion size. We asked for shrimp wonton soup, and the wonton's did not have shrimp inside. They just threw shrimp in the soup. Bummer. As we exited the door we didnt make contact with our skin as we noticed it could use a good wipe down! Hoping this place realizes that customers do notice uncleanliness.
