I love the coffee (philtered soul and mint mojito are my go to's) and love all the pastry/food options! It's a great place to study as well! There's a Sushi place next door so you have to enter from the street side slider closer to roosevelt rd.

Still an idealized little snarky coffee shop. I like a little snark with my caffeine. The coffee is good the WiFi is hot, the help is "charming". The vibe is hipster. I can't put my finger on it. They had a little white board in the middle of the shop and they invited anyone to write their fictional character crush! I wrote "Barbarella"!

Let's start here I was asked if I need to add or take away anything in my drink that the very nice stated barista was more than willing to accommodate my change. I was shocked and pleasantly blessed. In my years of patronizing coffee houses over the last 25 years cannot say I was ever given that offer. Love the open modern concept of their floor plan. The extended bench seating is a plus for, as it allows you the opportunity to not on sit at a table but also area to place your backpack, a welcome change from other coffee houses that I visited where I had to place my backpack on the floor. All of the baristas were friendly and welcome questions as I have never been to this particular coffee chain. It was a definite pleasure to see how well maintain the respective tables floors and work area where your beverage is being prepared. The pastries look very fresh the music play is not overpowering just loud enough to not be an annoyance. I saw a steady flow of customers but the customer line moves pretty fast. Very little wait time for your order. I took a chance and ordered an iced Mocha Tesora, a smooth coffee-based with a hint of sweetened cocoa, it was delicious. Love also they have outdoor seating carefully spaced nice for warms days, even evenings maybe after a dinner date. In addition, the no frills internet just clicks right on once I found their Wi-Fi name. I didn't need any secret password or a requirement of a drink minimum. Chase Bank eye shot and literally in walking distance. There is a Jamba Juice, Ramon restaurant, gourmet popcorn shot, Mexican restaurant, and much more in walking distance. I will definitely be back to chill to do an extended stay to get some work done, and to try some more of their unique beverages and treats. .
Absolutely amazing coffee, the service was outstanding and the bagel I got was incredibly fresh. Will be asking family to mail me beans back home!

Phil's keeps it simple for the most part with a straight forward menu and quick service. Had one of their signature drinks and requested less sweet, was already made sweet so they remade it and blessed my coworker with the sweet one rather than tossing it. Appreciate the kind service and correction. I'll be back

No espresso, just high quality coffee and fresh ingredients. Always brewed to order and the staff makes sure to let you know that if the drink didn't come out right for any reason, they will be happy to remake it. Very professional and friendly employees. I always get the Honey Haze or the Mocha Tesoro. The Mocha Tesoro has this rich, dark chocolate flavor. No syrup or overpowering sugary flavor. It just tastes like rich chocolate and coffee. The honey haze is similar in the way you taste honey without a cloying effect. Both are awesome and fully worth it. I had the Mojito drink here before and I didn't like that one as much. The floating leaves of mint just got in the way of drinking it and it just wasn't my thing. These other two though, forget about it. This is my go-to spot for meeting up with friends.
