I am simple when it comes to coffee. I ordered a hot coffee ☕ with almond milk but the real star was the Jalapeno Quiche which was made perfectly, it was soft/ fluffy not rubbery. I had to wait about 10 minutes for it but it was worth it. Sorry I didn't take a picture of it.

desert and coffee good. actual food: NO! flavorless burrito, with nothing but egg. salsa: nasty fr. if i’m not finishing my food in silence and in 5 minutes, you know it’s bad. flavorless chicken… no taste. don’t come here for the food, just coffee and desert. thank you

Walking my new neighborhood, went in with Julia the Wonder Mutt to order then realized I didn't have money. Walked back home and dropped mutt and headed back. A perfect iced Americano with xtra half and half and a yummy jalapeño quiche. The sweet man behind the counter was so nice when I came back, then forgot my credit card at the counter, then reminded me that they were heating the quiche when I asked if he had forgotten. Thanks for the caffeine and the gentle guidance after a 3 day move! Be back for sure.

Great coffee. Tasty food. Super friendly service. Good vibes and ambiance. Glad we found this spot for breakfast and coffee while visiting Long Beach!

In fact my rate is zero. I was having a hard time, wanted to treat myself with coffee and pastry “to go”. The girl on the counter dismissed me and told me to get out and make my order online. With attitude and disrespect. Because I had a small dog in my hands. My intention was to make an order keeping my small ! dog in my hands, to wait outside and to go home, not bothering anyone. It was not my first time there, there was no problem before. And this is the only place with such “problem”. Very disappointed and upset. It happened today,May 14th, about 1.40 pm.

33 years later, and STILL a great cup of coffee, and personable people behind the counter. The owner has done one hell of a job through thick and thin, and has created in institution in the ever changing city of Long Beach. Cheers. Amazing Cafe, Amazing Owner.

I would have to say Portfolio has my favorite hot chai in Long Beach. Came here on a Saturday morning and easily found parking, there was only one person ahead of me and the employees were very friendly. There was plenty of seats in the front area but not so much in the back. There were also lots of plugs and pretty good wifi

Great coffee and the service is excellent. The staff there is so friendly and accommodating. Easy parking in their own lot. Highly recommend

I chose this place using a Google search. It seemed pretty cool based on the reviews. From the outside, it looked pretty chill, but when I opened the door, it was packed. Every place was taken. Lots and lots of laptop campers. It seems to be a hangout for locals and from some of the looks I got, I didn't exactly feel welcome. I know how odd it sounds, but I felt it. Maybe they thought I was there to slow down their free wifi bandwidth! The staff is super nice though. No bad vibes from them at all. I ordered a large regular coffee, and my friend had a hazelnut latte and a blueberry muffin. The coffee was great, and my friend from London loved her latte and was raving about how great the muffin was. It was choc-full of juicy blueberries. It was a little over $15 plus tip for all of it. The quality is excellent. There's only one single bathroom for the entire place, and it's a decent-sized coffee shop. You'll need a code to use it. Be sure and ask for it when you order. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and that's where we sat. We were about the only people outside. Street parking was plentiful. Apparently, there's a small lot but I didn't even look for it. Glad I gave them a visit.

A Long Beach staple. Portfolio has been a haven for all locals for decades. The staff are friendly, quick to serve your orders, food is yummy and full of fresh choices, and coffee drinks are top notch. All the special orders can be accomodated and seating is ample and with varied options. I love walking over with my pup, grabbing a coffee with oatmilk and simple syrup and enjoying the 4th Street atmosphere. Thanks Portfolio for years of great times!

A very refreshing restaurant with quality food and drink offered. The service was good. The inside are very pleasant, and the only drawback are the prices. For that reason I would not go again as I find their coffee prices make me feel extravagant, sadly.

Great, long standing coffee spot. I love the matcha latte and breakfast sandwiches, the food ingredients are always so fresh. The staff is diverse and 'Long Beach' friendly, . We don't live in Long Beach but whenever our family visits, we all frequent Portfolios!

I love this cafe ! the ambience is very nice and the staff is super sweet. the blended chai tea is my new addictions. They also offer milk alternatives of course. I built my own bagel and it was good; but a little pricy. One down side is the struggle for parking, but that's fourth street for ya.

We just moved in down the corner and have been here all 3 days we have lived here… the coffee is so rich and flavorful. The egg sandwiches and breakfast burrito have all been delicious. The baked goods so yummy too. The vibe is relaxed and calming. The cutest little coffee shop so glad to have it so close. Will def be coming back. Only complaint is the cold brew is 7 bucks but hey it’s cold brew and it’s Cali.
