Awesome place for studies, paperwork completion, or catching up with a good friend. Delicious food, good drinks, great customer service, and chill atmosphere vibes. Lots of space for independent sitting or multiple people gathering. Will come back for sure.

I've driven by it several times, so decided to finally give it a shot...SALA Coffee and Wine Bar. When walking in, the place is wide open with plenty of room; but the one thing I don't see was anything that showed available drinks or food. They give you a menu when you get to the counter to order. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a Americano and breakfast burrito. When the burrito came out it looked so good. I will admit that the first half of the burrito was fantastic. Then came the second half. I don't know what it was but several bites had a very bitter taste. No idea what it was, but it definitely stopped me from finishing the rest of it. I'm sure this is not the norm for SALA, but gonna be little hard for me to go back and find out. Again this was just my experience.

I first heard of Sala, which is near my community, either via TikTok or Insta as I was scrolling and came up on a video talking about a basque cheesecake! I was intrigued due to it looking "burnt" lol! On several occasions I called to see if they had it for pick up and they were always sold out, seems like the earlier in the day the better chances you'll have. On a random late Sunday morning my friends and I were looking for a place to eat and it so happens we were on Atlantic Ave. If you blink you'll miss SALA because it's not very visible. We decided to go and try it out. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was big and delicious, quality ingredients and a vanilla latte, smooth and great flavor. Unfortunately when I ordered I asked about the basque cheesecake and they were already out! I was so bummed, I inquired about how early one has to be there, can I pre-order a slice... and while sitting down waiting on our food, the young man approached me and said he had found a slice that was in their fridge. I got to try it and it was everything I expected and more! Thank you for your kind and attentive service.

A cool spot for grabbing a caffeinated drink and grub. I think this shop opened during the pandemic And I'm really happy it's still here and consistently serving yumminess with chill-cool vibes. def a local favorite and low key I want to kiss the chef/cook each time I eat the food. Whether it's a Solrad burrito or the chilaquilles, I always leave skipping so obvi I'm recommending this shop for lattes and any item on their food menu, but try the chillequilles if you like the crunchy kind (FYI:chillequilles should NEVER be limp, am I right mujeres?‍). OH! honey lavender latte is created with their very own house made lavender syrup, recommend!!

Concept is there but service needs a lot of improvement. We've been here a few times and just not friendly at all. Never a greeting nor a smile. Today, they forgot our coffees-it wasn't busy. After I asked for it, I had to get up and pick it up myself after watching others being served their drinks before ours. No apologies. No efforts. Owners are around and could work on creating a more friendly and open atmosphere (I hope they're reading this with consideration) There are too many favorable coffee shops in this area for us to return-especially coming from a LB local. Try harder or place wont last. Its a cold environment

Espresso, cortado, cappuccino were all dialed in so well. Moises is a coffee phenom barista. Food was delicious too. The coffee beans sold at the counter are legit. New ground and manhattan bean, sey, day glow. We also had a few vegan donuts too that were spectacular. What a great coffee shop and restaurant. Can just sit here and chill for awhile.

really great place to seat and get work done, get caffeine and the burrito was so good!! laptop friendly (wifi, plugs, tables, seats are available) although the music lit, probably wouldn't go if you have google meets/zoom meetings, its a lil loud. $$ coffee + food apprx spend $25 Order at counter but food is table service so tip is appropriate, great service! I do want to try their wines next time if I'm not working lol But it's a unique cafe experience that this area usually doesn't have in every coffee shop. Would love to rent this space for a birthday party or a pop up event if they do that kind of stuff!

Going to Sala for coffee and breakfast is a delight I look forward to. This place is hip; the music and decor are on point, but not in a pretentious way. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If its coffee, wine, or good food, they got you covered here. It really is my local salita ✨

Great food, great service. Always a delight coming here. Their breakfast burritos have super beautiful runny eggs in the beginning and end of their burritos. I'm not sure if any other places does that. But it welcomes your taste buds like a sunset on a summer day, and leaves you at the end craving for more. Their main menu is ever changing and is backed by a solid LB local chef Jose who has worked under Chef Mel all around LB in various popups. If you know chef Mel, you know what's up. Their coffee is on point too, one of the best in LB. Overall the place gives a really chill hip classy down-to-earth vibes without any pretentiousness. The sense of community the owners have cultivated amongst the regulars and everybody who frequents this place is super warm and friendly. Feels like a spot I'd go to if I were living in France, UK, Zurich, or anywhere in Europe... but Mexican! Also, their wine selection is fantastic, and their head dude knows too much about wine. It's way above my head, but my partner loves it. Great spot for a first date, or a party, or coffee blind date. It's definitely a one of a kind spot in LB.

The food made my stomach sick. I got a breakfast burrito and the egg was super runny-- the soyrizo appeared to be undercooked too... I went in with high hopes for this spot, but ended up very disappointed. In terms of the service, one of the cashiers seemed nice, however, the second one seemed upset, but lively with other customers. They seem to act different with their usual customers. They all hugged and seemed to know each other's names. It gave off poor mannerisms with their new customers... Other than that, the vibes were nice, the food and the service, not so much. I don't think I'll be going back here.

Excellent breakfast spot with chill vibes - the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito hit the spot. I miss the tumeric latte but the new one with ginger is growing on me.

The coffee is always amazing here and the customer service is unparalleled. The ambience/environment is also so welcoming and they're always playing chill music They're always really friendly and patient even when the crowed is here. The coffee always comes out fast too so the wait is never too big.
