The complaint I have is that I spent $35 for Meal and small portions in styrofoam instead of actual plates. I called 2 times and was put on hold both time and the girl taking my order seemed confused. Customer service keeps you coming back. People will remember bad service and tell others!

Best thing was the drinks. Fries were mid. Sauce on the rice tasted burnt. Greens weren't seasoned. Shoot nothing was seasoned. Shrimp...... what was that. It was like eating the tail. Tarter tasted like only Mayo. Hot sauce was water with red die.

I mean, pic says it all! I had smothered chicken and rice with Mac n cheese and collard greens! First timer and they did not disappoint!! Had lunch with family and friends and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The kool aid and sweet tea are really good! Not watery and it tastes like I remember it from childhood. The lady in the front is really sweet! We came on a Friday afternoon and found parking, and plenty of tables to sit at. I love that they didn't fill up our cups with ice

Some of the best tasting pineapple coconut cake. My stepmother said the oxtails were extremely tender and good.

The taste of the food is just nasty as hell. Especially $60 for 2 plates. The Mac&Cheese is not it, it's the most pale non cheesy Mac I ever had. The rice with the gravy just makes me want to throw up. You would think white ppl cooked it, hell they probably cook it better. Crazy part is I don't even do reviews but I just had to leave y'all with a caution sign . And by the way, you have to wait half an hour for some bs !

My husband and I will not be eating there again. We wondered why it was empty when we went there, we should have taken that as a sign. Ended up throwing the food away. Usually, we go to R. Kitchen on Paramount Blvd in Lakewood, but they were closed on Tuesday. They have the best soul food.
