We had a great time at the restaurant! Tried the snake roll, surprise roll, and chicken teriyaki. Rolls were delicious, and the chicken teriyaki was the highlight - savory and tender. Despite being busy, the service was attentive, always checking if we needed anything:)

I have been going to Sushi Kara's for a few years now, and it is my favorite sushi restaurant in East Long Beach. Their sushi is always fresh, with big portions, and they have a big variety of sushi rolls. They also have excellent Japanese food like teriyaki dishes, curry, pork katsu, and many more. The staff is always friendly and their service is excellent. It is a must try if you are in the area.

For a pricey dynamite roll. It sure lacked in every department. It definitely wasn't baked like it's supposed to be. They basically scooped a pile of imitation crab on top and warmed it up and called it a dynamite roll. I found only 3 small scallops in the toppings. A cheap move to fill the top. I removed all the imitation crab and piled it on the left as you can see. Should definitely rename it the imitation crab roll.

High quality ingredients and fresh sushi too. Since I just order there avocado/ell roll yesterday. Love the way they included free sauce, Wasabi, pickle ginger, napkins and chopsticks some places charge extra dollar for sauce or napkins

This is a delicious sushi restaurant worth visiting in Long Beach.First of all, the staff is friendly and the store is clean.The taste of sushi is also closest to the original taste.The price is reasonable and the kids like it so I plan to visit again.

I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the fish, the ambience, service, and price. A larger portion would have earned 5 stars from me. I ordered the chirashi lunch special. It paired well with their house sake and Kirin ichiban beer. I'll be back to try their sashimi combo and a la carte nigiri.

This is our new favorite sushi bar/restaurant! We (my wife and I) came on Sunday for lunch. We enjoyed shrimp tempura, sunshine roll, dragon roll, spicy baked lobster roll, and octopus sushi. Along with two tall beers. We sat at the bar, service was quick and food was high quality. Easy to find parking. Thank you sushi Kara! We will be seeing you again!
