Solid 4 stars! First time and won't be the last time here! Can't believe I have not been here yet but then again I limited eating out after the pandemic.Sat at the bar with a friend and service was super quick! Your food will come out before you expect it! We enjoyed everything that we ordered from their extensive menu. Asked the sushi chef for his recommendations and he was very helpful.Nigiri portions are huge!Fish is fresh!Rice to fish ratio is perfect!911 Roll, not pictured was the right amount of heat. What I like is that their sauces are light, not heavy mayo based, for the dishes we choose. The "4 corners" was a winner. I'm coming back for this dish!

First off, trying to park here is a pain! Only street metered parking or trying to find near residential. I literally had to go around block 3 times to find parking. I came in around 12:20pm probably first customer cause no one was there. The ladies greeted us and they were nice but didn’t come up to us too often. The Food was amazing. I ordered the Halloween rolls and my friend ordered the 911 rolls and we shared the pork gyozas. I would probably come back here if I was in the area again except for the parking it was a hassle.Parking: Metered parking on streets. Or try residential areas.

I've been coming to Sushi on Fire since it first opened back in 2012. This restaurant has a ginormous menu and will satisfy anyone's special diet. It's great to see this restaurant to have evolved to such a degree of success that it has changed ownership without affecting the feel or menu of the restaurant. It's still my favorite!

Small spot. Nothing fancy. It is a Sushi restaurant and they seriously need to let the fishy scent out. Good service. Good food.

This place is overrated. The quality of the fish and sushi is very plain.

My eel with rice bowl was good and the shrimp tempura was okay. The green tea was a little blah.

I've been coming to sushi on fire for over ten years and this last trip did not disappoint. We got the 18piece sushi and a few rolls and everything was perfect! Oh ya can't forget the best edamame anywhere!

Great place for a casual meal. Personally I like other sushi spots on 2nd street better, but we went for my brother’s birthday because it’s his favorite! They brought him a dessert and candle which was really nice and there wasn’t a bite of food left at the end of the meal.

Revising my review of this place. I was seated and served a bowl of miso soup almost immediately. The quality was good, a lot of places can have bland miso soup. The sushi options I had ordered were delicious and filling, the presentation was on point. I had a pool of sauce in the center of the dish to dip into, and the flavors were solid. This is my second choice up against Sushi Ai, but the price, quality, service....I could see it being your first choice overall. It may be the most consistent option on 2nd street overall. I really did appreciate the complimentary soup, a little goes a long way.

You can get a great deal on a sashimi lunch special for 17$. It comes with soup and salad and a bunch of sashimi that are large pieces and they were fresh and had very good flavor. It filled me up and was a great price and quality!! They also have a lunch special that's a roll with soup and salad that is cheaper but might as well spend the extra bucks for good quality sashimi.
