Small little place in Long Beach. The food is okay. We ordered the beef ribs which were very greasy. One of our hamburgers completely fell apart because of too much dressing. The restaurant ran out of brisket before 6:00 p.m. which is a busy dinner time. They should have prepared more for the dinner rush. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. My tri-tip was not hot and I had to send it back to being warmed up. It came back at the same original temperature! The server never came back to address any of our needs. We had to go to the counter to get more napkins and other items because the server was nowhere around.Parking: The parking lot is very small with limited parking.

First time coming here with my two daughters. Young lady in the front gave us suggestions on what to try. She was very friendly and attentive. The price of the meals are reasonable and the servings are a nice size, we were able to take some home with us. My youngest daughter and I got the 8 pc wing dinners with Cajun fries, I also added Mac and cheese cornbread and greens for an additional charge. The Mac was mid but the greens were delicious, could’ve drained them a little more as they had the excess juice but very flavorful. The wings were delicious. I got the Chilli pepper sauce. The cornbread was not good, it was bland. My oldest daughter ordered the baby back rib dinner with Mac n cheese and baked beans. She said everything was good except the Mac. Parking is very limited. We found a spot across the street so we had to use the crosswalk. The restaurant is pretty small but cozy. I would return again if I’m ever in the area.

I had never tasted the food but went there by word of mouth from my daughter. The ribs is fall off the bone good no need for extra sauce. I also had the peach cobbler which has very good flavor but my opinion crust could be cooked more less juice overall my experience was a 9.5 out of 10.Parking: Very limited

I was looking forward to trying this place out from the reviews. I ordered the bbq cheese and meat sandwich combo with brisket.The brisket was dry and a little chewy. Overall without adding more bbq sauce it was lackluster.The Mac and cheese side was pretty bland. I had to add Sriracha just to eat it.Overall it was ok. Was not good or great. Maybe I'll give it another try later on but for now this wouldn't be my 1st choice or even 3rd choice to recommend to anyone

I reviewed this restaurant 4 years ago, based on my experience then. I had a desire for some good bbq today, but I didn't feel like driving in the rainstorm. 55 mins after my postmates order was placed, my food arrived. Of course, I tipped generously, so my driver would not be too frustrated with driving a little further in the rain to deliver to me. The first thing I noticed when the food arrived was that I did NOT smell Barbecue. The food was lacking that signature bbq smell of meat smoked for hours in a smoker with a wood fire. I asked for bristket cut from the point. The brisket had looked like it came from the point ,but it had a texture like it was made days before and then fried to warm it up. It was oily, like it was fried. It tasted like canola oil, not rendered beef fat (tallow). The brisket order was a few ounces short in the weight we ordered, and it was extremely lacking in flavor both from seasoning and smoke. The meat had no smoke flavor at all. The beef sausages were fried and also had no smoke flavor. The only thing that even remotely resembled the flavors I used to get from this place was the fries. The fries earned the 2 stars. 1 for using real potatoes and 1 for using just the right amount of salt. I am extremely disappointed since the costs have gone up, but the quality has plummeted. My desire for some bbq is stronger now than before having this food. I am not sure if this place can get back to its former outstanding bbq, but right now, it stands out for the wrong reason. That is calling what they served me today, Bbq.
