Went here after a stop at another business with the shipping center of pch and 2nd because I was always curious to taste this as they have a history in the past many years of going viral nationally by always coming up with the most outrageous flavors like mustard or ranch lol But I didn't go because I wanted to go that far on hoping to find that kind of flavor but I do love interesting flavors or combos and I wanted to see how their ice cream was generally The place was not busy when I went which was early in the afternoon and because I wasn't there to get a cone or cup I didn't have to get in line because I wanted to pick up pre packed pints so I went to their fridge and saw so many flavors including vegan options which I was tempted because good vegan food is so good but I decided on the regular stuff I got banana cream pie which is the one I'm already trying as I type this and it's delicious! Great flavor to it and it's not intense. I also got Marion berry cheesecake and pumpkin cinnamon roll which I'm looking forward to later Service was friendly and great The ambiance is pretty ice cream shop typical but no where really to stay to eat but that's ok there's places outside. The price is pretty up there and I had a feeling going in that it would be high but you are getting quality

After having lunch at Ola Mexican Kitchen, we went for dessert at Van Leeuwen ice cream. I am a sucker for specialty ice cream shops. They had a lot of unique flavors and I love that they let you sample flavors. Minus one star for their very skimpy scoop of ice cream. Minus one star for their pricing. $7.35 one scoop. $8.85 two scoops. Over $10.00 for three scoops. I will say that the guy that helped us was very helpful, knowledgeable and very nice.

The ice cream tasted very good and I really enjoyed the Black Cherry Chip but the size of a scoop is so small for $7. Consider giving bigger size scoops or charge less for a single scoop.
Finally came here after having it on my bookmarks! We were in the Long Beach area and were craving ice cream. Cute little ice cream spot with a variety of traditional and unique flavors. We got vanilla bean and strawberry. Every place makes these two traditional flavors differently therefore we had to try them! Their strawberry ice cream was by far one of my favorites i have tried all around from different ice cream shops! Sweet staff and the place is clean! Will be coming back for sure to try a more adventurous flavor.

I visited again and was disappointed. Service was friendly enough, but the waffles cones were still not right, a lot of ice cream was too soft, and the portion decreased dramatically. I may try again, but if these conditions remain the same, I won't be going back. It's too expensive for what you get.

First of all, fun name. I tried their Vegan Strawberry Cheesecake single scoop in a waffle cone. Couldn't believe it was vegan! Bomb bomb bomb. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!
