Staff is hit or miss. No one was at the window during a rainy day so we ordered pizza. Returned to see an employee at the window so we went to place an order. He didn’t look interested in opening the window and seemed kind of sketchy — hard to determine if he was robbing the place or there to make your food kind of sketchy. lol. I stood there anyway. He opens the window with no greeting or acknowledgement. I politely ask, “are you open?” He replied, “as long as we make this quick.” What? It’s 12:06 pm and your menu is basic, how long could it possibly take. Needless to say, due to his appearance and demeanor I did not order. No telling what someone with that attitude would do to my food.Atp, just go home and close on rainy days if you can not manage an ounce of professionalism. People wonder why folks don’t patronize their businesses— with employees who behave this way, who wants to? Headed to ihop I guess.

Delicious food, in a fun location! What more could you ask for? Good service? They've got that too. The guy behind the counter is hilarious and provides great service. Ordered the sunshine and Nutella love waffles which are Soo tasty. Also ordered a chicken sandwich minus the provolone and it too was wonderful.

I’m a regular at Waffle Love. It was quite disturbing to see that my order the waffle & bisque was burned to crisp. When I called back to inform them, there was no apology or concern. I will not be returning to Waffle Love. There is one employee that has great customer service, but was not there. What a Shame!

Wow…terrible food and service.First, it took 30+ minutes for a chicken and waffle order. No heads up it would take that long. My entire party was done eating by the time my food came out (go for the tacos, it’s the only thing at this location worth anything.The chicken was good but the waffle was undercooked. I went up afterwards to let them know it was undercooked and doughy, and the guy immediately said “no , that’s just how they are.”After living 2 years in Belgium and having probably 50 or more Liege waffles from Liege and surrounding cities…no, that’s never how they are.The manager came up and I let him know that I wasn’t looking for a refund but just letting them know it wasn’t cooked, and he acted like a small child and got really aggro and defensive.Just avoid the waffle…there’s no love.

One day, I ordered the waffle with strawberry and icing. It was delicious. Two days later, different cook, Hmm, I decided to get breakfast since I loved the waffle I got two days prior. And wow, it was hard, no flavor, chewy, like a bagel from 3 days ago. I couldn't eat it. Sad, it was so good before. I guess it depends who is cooking that day.

Awww...Super delicious on every level. The waffle is not basic. It is sweet like a French pastry and crunchy, but soft. It is undescribable. Honestly. One of the best waffles in town. The toppings are amazing and fresh. Customer service is TOP notch. So friendly and super accommodating. I appreciate a business that appreciates us...the customers. Friends, this place is a Must if in Long Beach.

I ordered the chicken and waffles this morning…online.I arrived like 3 minutes before the app said my food would be ready. I seen a bag on the counter…waiting. The guy said it’s only been sitting there 4 minutes at most.The chicken was still warm, but the waffle was horribly soft, no crisp to it at all. This made the texture of the waffle doughy, was horribly as I stated.Either eat there or arrive early, their app is not reliable.Chicken tasted excellent though.Update 9/1/23 of the company really hoped I’d try them again, they would have offered a replacement meal for a chance to redeem themselves and hopefully a better review. I didn’t ask for a replacement, nor was one offered, but my review is genuine.

Literally one of my favorite spots! My bf and I used to come here at least once a month whether it was the Long Beach location or the one in Northridge area. Every time the food is amazing! The manager or owner at the Long Beach location is always super friendly and helpful when we come in. The vibes at steel craft are great, love how there is a lot of seating. Personally, the price is a bit high but the quality and experience makes up for it!
