The best pastrami sandwich around. Great wine. Great regulars. Wonderful owners. Polite and respectful workers. Tastefully decorated and clean. This place checks all the boxes for the perfect watering hole. My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful evening at Willmore and I can't wait to return.

Since retirement, I have become quite a regular here. Ernie, the owner, and the rest of his staff know about wine and service. I always learn something new about wine, and I've been drinking and studying wine for close to forty years. I've had wonderful conversations with Ernie and his faithful patrons on wine, food, books, travel, and sports - especially the San Francisco 49ers games. There are no TVs, so it's all about talking and connecting to other humans.Even with a cold kitchen, he has a good food selection.

We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon to celebrate our girlfriend's birthday. The place is cozy with a nice big long table that our group was able to post up at. We were greeted immediately by the sommelier and he helped us select a couple of glasses to enjoy before we all settled on getting a couple of bottles including the Opaque Zin and the Screen Door Chardonnay. The service was attentive, the wine on offer was delicious, and the overall vibe was friendly and convivial. We had a great time!

Went here for first Fridays in December 2023. Cozy and warm. Enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay and a nice Belgium beer. Everyone was nice that worked there. Enjoyed the ambiance with a pianist playing in the background. No complaints here. A good place to chill and enjoy good company. Definitely like the vibe. The only thing is that if you are not a San Francisco 49er fan, you may not like this place! LOL. The owner is a 49er fan.

This adorable wine bar has a relaxed atmosphere with a community feel. There is local art for purchase lining the walls and cute tables inside and out. The menu has a couple small sides that pair nicely with their wine. Staff is ready for recommendations and if you're lucky someone might hop on the piano and play a tune. The service here is fantastic, the decor with the notable lack of any screens is exceptionally earthy and warm feeling. I did not take my phone out once while there which feels like a good experience. Fellow patrons seemed there for conversation and wine which gave it a very European vibe. Had charcuterie plate and the monthly wine flight. The cheeses were great and the meats as well. I always run out of crackers but that's because I have to eat a couple plain crackers to clear my palette between cheeses and wines lol. The flight was one Italian white and one California red and an Italian Chianti. All good wines. Definitely will go back again. They have a wine club going as well $65ish for two bottles a month and a pickup party that includes heavy apps and a glass of wine not from your selection that month. Great little gem of a wine bar in a nice location.

Chose this hidden gem in Bixby Knolls as a meeting spot. Ample street parking on Atlantic or on Roosevelt. Arrived as happy hour was about to start(4pm). Was warmly greeted by Ernie ( the owner and a 49ers fan). This is a place where everyone knows your name. Lots of regulars and the wine and beer selection is amazing. Had a Zinfandel and a turkey sandwich. My business partner had a pastrami sandwich and a speciality beer which he liked so much that he ordered a bottle to take home. For the regulars they have a frequent buyers club. Buy 10 glasses and get One of Ernie's choice for free. I really loved this spot. Piano out front where on occasion Ernie will play. Cool wine collector items on display. A display that caught my attention was a shadow box display of Ernie's fathers medals from when he served in the US Marine Corp. Overall a good warm and inviting location. I will definitely will be coming back.
