A surprise birthday cake was ordered and paid for over the phone, and picked up within a few days of ordering. The cake was Strawberry Champagne; the flavor was not too sweet and each bite was perfection. We loved the artistic flair of the cak, as well. Will definitely recommend this bakery to everyone!

We have been ordering here for the last 8 years for all our special events and just because and we’ve never been disappointed.The eclairs are the best in our area, in my opinion, but please if you must go get some, leave some for me! ?Esther and her staff work hard to accommodate last minute orders and provide excellent customer service.

So delicious! And adorable- A quaint little shop tucked into a mostly residential neighborhood. Sweet servers who seemed like they truly wanted to serve. The delicacies were numerous and every one I tried was delectable. Yum!

Now, onto why...Ambiance: it is situated in a beautiful neighborhood with an almost "Hocus Pocus (Disney movie)" vibe. Very charming and mellow. Parking is a breeze - curbside or in a parking area. Now, when you open the door to the place, THIS IS when your world changes. You are met with the kindest and most helpful employees behind a display case of GREATNESS! Seriously, I wanted to eat everything I saw and I tend to not be super big on desserts. But this place is special. The display case proudly showcases their elegant array of desserts which you can almost taste by glaring at them. Each one looks flawless and tasty. Also, on the wall are their accolades/awards (if you didn't already know how amazing they are by reading my review ). It's a nice touch showing this place takes great pride in their hard work and everything they do. Presentation is everything to me and they knocked this part of it out of the park! Love this place! 5/5 stars on the ambiance. Service: the two ladies who helped me could not have been any more amazing. They were very informative, polite, easy to speak with, and helped me pick the desserts I wanted (so I wouldn't buy literally everything I saw, ha!). (Thank you for that, btw!) They answered questions and never made me feel rushed. Please be informed, I showed up only for a birthday cake and left with 5 or more pastries on top of that! Let that be an indicator of how good the food is. Also, I had initially called 5 minutes before closing on Monday and they not only answered my questions, but offered to take my order if I was interested. So I placed the order and was impressed by that level of service. I never felt like an inconvenience (even though I do to my coworkers at times, but that's another story! Donnn't judge meeee!!!) which is refreshing. 5/5 stars on the service, I could not be more impressed. Food: Well, ya made it this far through my moderately coherent ramblings, so let's talk about the food... Have you ever seen something and thought "yeah, I know that that tastes like already/I can taste it already?" Well, it's like that but better in my opinion. The attention to detail on the strawberries being slices and the garnish pieces on the cake was a nice touch. The pastries are not like pastries I have seen before. For example, the apricot pastries use real full slices of apricots on them. Many places use an apricot jelly, but not this place. They also have a variety of cheesecake here and THEY.ALL.LOOK.GOOD. Even better (as if such is possible, right?): they taste GREAT! Better than I could have imagined. You can check my review history. I do not leave many reviews, but this place warranted one for being above and beyond the standard by far! Seriously, if I did not live a town over, I'd be there trying something new every other day. Conclusion: You're still with me? Cool! Awesome! This place makes the best desserts I have had in a long time and I highly recommend them. The woman who answered told me to email my request/inquiry instead.I emailed and there was no response. I emailed a second time and waited but never heard back. I have given up on them.

We phoned in a cake order a week in advance and they were able to accommodate us. We first heard about them after trying their cake at a friend's party and wanted to have one for our own event as well. We ordered an 8" round strawberry champagne cake and it was delicious. We have since been back to try their pastries from the case and those were great, too. The apple strudel was the favorite.
Our go to cake place for probably 15 years.Love all their cakes, pastries etc. A Placer County gem.

Tremendous thanks and a huge shout out for Divine Desserts by Aguirre. After another local "boutique" bakery bailed on a 21st birthday celebration cake only twenty four hours before pick up, I was at a total loss. Ana and Esther at Divine Desserts were nothing short of amazing; understanding, helpful and extremely professional. The cake that they created with LESS than twenty fours hours notice was gorgeous, delicious and half the price of the original cake. (I'd had their individual desserts before, but never a traditional cake.) There truly are some great people in our community.

So, I am a Freeport Bakery gal, but since we moved to this area, it's been a hassle driving to Sacramento to pick up cake for events when I'm already scrambling to get stuff ready. I did some Yelp research after being disappointed with some of the local bakeries, and found the is place.First, when you pick up your cake... just wow! The smell is pure heaven!!Second, the prices are extremely reasonable!Third, I got two cakes here last week, and both knocked it out of the park. The first was the triple chocolate and the second was a strawberry and custard one. Both were great, but the strawberry was amazing. Everyone LOVED it!
