The only waiter on staff yesterday kept talking with one of the cooks in the back. We saw two tables ask if the waiter was ready to take their order?? She was pretty much just standing around and talking her whole shift. Barely any acknowledgment that customers were even in the building. Not great customer service. The food is good here but I think we will only be ordering to-go from now on.

The mug and company is an amazing place to eat. The service is friendly and quick. The HCP meat lovers mess was made perfectly and it tasted even better. I highly recommend stopping by.

I called for a pickup order. Wasn't too thrilled when the total came to $34 and some change. I guess it's the times? I walked up and saw they offered dog treats outside. So cute. I was greeted but a young lady, did not catch her name, but she was so sweet. I ordered her recommendation on the mimosa... pineapple coconut and grenadine. So so so good. I ordered a mimosa, country fried steak burrito with no eggs and hashbrowns inside and a coffee. Everything exceeded my expectations. After tipping, it came to about $38. If I'm in the area again, I will most definitely come back.

It's a breakfast place. Used to be called The Ugly Mug. Liked the old name better, many others I have spoken to say the same. The food is great as usual, they have some outside seating but if it's cold outside that doesn't work. Great little place for breakfast and

Food is homestyle and delicious. Coffee seems a bit high priced for a place with Mug in its name. I my wife and I had omelettes and found them well cooked and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cool.

Today is January 5th. I came at around 1p. Unfortunately I am not coming here again. I had a glass of water. Then got my food. Not once did the girl with bleached curly hair with a pony tail or the young man wearing a long sleeve grayish tan shirt come to see how I was doing. The two were too busy talking! I was not checked on once and my water was not refilled. Until I finished my food!!!! With that when I got my water the young man said "straw"? Do they not customer service! I said thank you and they didn't respond at all! Not worth the money! I asked for a manager and the young girl said no. Then they carried on with their gossip. Ten minutes later she came to ask if there was a problem with anything? lol Horrible and the young man is rude!

Had such an amazing breakfast here! Amazing atmosphere and great food!! The owner is amazing. I saw a cup I fell in love with and she gave it to me. I wouldn’t expect to her give away all her diner ware but she was nice enough to hook me up. I strongly recommend this little hidden gem. Small town service at its finest. Will definitely be back very soon!!!

Food was average. Service was just ok. Server never came back to offer a coffee refill. Only one piece of toast.

My husband and I have eaten here once or twice a year for several years now. Service has always been friendly and efficient, and food has almost always been good - never amazing, but overall pretty good food at a decent price. But after our most recent visit, I don't think we'll be returning. We stopped in on Sunday 9/17 for brunch. It was pretty quiet, with only a couple of tables taken, and service was friendly and efficient. We were a bit shocked by the prices: most breakfast and lunch plates are about $15-$20, with many seeming to be about $17 or $18. Even given inflation, I have a hard time justifying that much for a sandwich, scramble, or basic burger. But, we rarely eat out these days, and figured it would be worth it. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and tater tots, I got the corned beef hash, which was recommended by the server and is apparently house made. Nothing was good; everything suffered from a severe lack of flavor. I don't think that they used salt or pepper. The burger was obviously a pre-formed, frozen patty, devoid of flavor, with brown lettuce and a stale bun. All we could really taste was the raw onion. The corned beef was both plentiful and hard to eat, with a chewy texture that almost squeaked when I gnawed through it and tablespoons of fat and gristle visible throughout. Country potatoes were blackened on the outside and mushy on the inside, turning into a kind of beige smear on the plate. The tots were fine, once we added salt and ketchup. We won't go back, especially with those prices.

We ate here for breakfast because High Hand was packed. Not once did someone smile or welcome us to the restaurant - We felt like an inconvenience. (Actually, we joked that it was a Gen-Z drama fest with kids that don't want to be there) When we sat down, we were offered coffee from a pot (like most breakfast spots) and when the bill came, it was $3.25 a person for crappy breakfast restaurant coffee, generic tiny coffee creamers, and we had to ask for sugar because there was only one packet in the dish... We each got a mimosa flight and when asked what flavors we wanted we asked "ooh! What kind do you have?" The answer: a shrug and an annoyed list of basic juices. The cost? $18.00 a piece. We barely saw our server and when she did come by, it was a flat an annoyed "you good?" Our bill ended up being about $100 for coffee, 2 and a half plates, and 2 mimosa flights.... We likely won't be back due to lack of service, $100 for BREAKFAST for two people, and average breakfast food you could get anywhere. (Truthfully, If I thought I was getting an easy $20-$50 per table in 20% tips, I probably wouldn't care about doing my job either)

I have been there for late breakfast three times this week. I love a place where you can eggs served up anytime. This place did not disappoint. Great breakfast menu. Very fresh homemade style cooking. Great service, and where else can you get a good beer with your breakfast.

I was worried it would be busy on a Sunday morning, and it was bustling BUT the staff were so unbelievably friendly and kind, service was super quick, and food delicious. 10/10 would come back again!

My dad took me to this place for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The staff were very prompt at seating us and knowledgeable about the various menu offerings. I had a pineapple mimosa which was light and refreshing and a great way to start the day! For breakfast I enjoyed the Tahoe Blue Eggs Benedict, which was one of the best I've had! The croissant soaked up the hollandaise sauce and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were also really good, and I was so full by the end. The restaurant itself is also very clean and well-maintained by the owner and staff. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!
