Very cool space, but Service was so slow. I had to ask for drink refills and for the bill. Our waitress seemed more interested in chatting with colleagues versus taking care of her customers.

Great food. Great setting. We booked for a dinner before a show at the music center. However, even with a reservation it took 15 minutes to be seated leaving us pressured. Service was courteous but very slow. If you order the "build your own handrolls", be sure to ask for extra nori. There just isn't enough served with the otherwise nice appetizer. Bill for 3 drinks, and 3 appetizers was $180. Not a great value even with the impressive view and location.

Originally we wanted to go to San Laurel but they only open for dinner. So Agua viva was our second option but, it turned out as a present surprise. Outdoor seat was a bit chilly but good vibe with LA downtown look down view. Service is nice. Good Spanish wine list, foods are just amazing. Never disappointed by Jose Andrés restaurants. Everything was great, and the best was the dessert. Very creative, nice presentation and of course delicious. Highly recommend this place and we will revisit por supuesto!Parking: Valid parking is $15 with validation.

The experience was delightful. We were even offered blankets o make sure we were comfortable while sitting outside. The views were beautiful. The food was delicious and the waiter did a great job of giving suggestions. The Gin and Tonic was absolutely delicious.

We come here often before Music Center events. For brunch today we shared avocado toast, endive and pear salad and deviled eggs with jamon. The portions were ample and the quality and flavor of the dishes were exceptional. Cocktails were just OK. Coffee after was also just OK. The outdoor seating on the extensive deck was perfect on a mild sunny day. Serving staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.Prices are what you'd expect at a Conrad hotel. Given the meager options for dining around the Music Center, this is definitely the place to go.

We were told when we arrived that, because of rain, the restaurant was closed, and our only option was a much more expensive alternative. We had symphony tickets so we had no other option. At the very least, I would have appreciated a text or email before we arrived. Deeply unprofessional and rather infuriating, don't you think?

Very nice outdoor dining/bar within the Conrad hotel. Like most places that serve it, I had to try the grilled octopus appetizer, and it was tasty but with portions slightly smaller than expected while paying LA prices. Very attentive service. Great views all around restaurant and bar, firepit type seating areas. Great vantage point for photos.Parking: Plenty of spots, hotel charged $65 a day with in/out privileges.

Nice atmosphere, great service! Food is pretty tasty, only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because they don’t have ranch dressing.

We went for a pre-show dinner on a Saturday night, and it is very convenient to get to the Music Center. As others mention, it is a little hard to find, and we ran a bit late, but the staff at the restaurant was wonderfully accommodating. The place had a nice high design vibe and we were seated at a table with a spectacular view. There was a massive dance party going on downtown, so the noise level was pretty "lively." The crowd at the restaurant was mostly 40+ but some younger diners were also present. We ordered for the three of us the fried sea bream, carrot hummus and patates bravas. At first we ordered the grilled sea bream, but the waiter smartly warned us that it has a strong fish flavor, which I detest, and we were all happy with the milder fried version. At first we were not sure how to eat the whole fish, which was not fileted at the table, but then figured out that most of the flesh had been fried separately in pieces, served on the same plate. There was no side dish, only two dipping sauces, which seemed odd for a dish that cost $60+. The fish was tasty, but at that price, it should be mind blowing. Or enormous. It was neither. The carrot hummus wasn't really hummus, I don't think, at least not in the traditional sense of having a base of garbanzo beans. The server told us it was almond based, but also had tahini like traditional tahini. It also had what tasted like sweet roasted carrots and some spices. We enjoyed it, even if it wasn't especially memorable, and the portion was quite small. The potatoes were fine, although not really "brava" (spicy) at all. The server made sure we had our check in time to get to the show, and she could not have been kinder.

Wonderful experience at Avis Viva. The restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. The food is the real star! Everything was outstanding. Try the Peruvian scallops. Amazing! Will go again.

My current favorite rooftop restaurant. If you want a 100% guaranteed awesome outdoor experience for lunch, go to Agua Viva! It will not disappoint. I went for lunch time and the day was perfect for this spot. The food was delicious, the view was fantastic and the service was welcoming and fun! Our waitress had the best energy. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl and my friend had the Avocado Toast and we shared the Croquetas De Cangrejo and everything was super yummy! I had the pineapple sage mocktail which was refreshing and a great alternative to a cocktail since I went during my lunch time from work. I will be going back to this spot to try more food items and maybe even try it for dinner to experience the nighttime vibe.

Seemed to be short staffed. Service people lovely especially maitre d but noise from area above fire place , possibly some hotel hvac system really loud. Carrots good, lobster roll fair, octopus good . Drinks swell.

The food was incredible, especially the acorn squash soup, and the mango chile peanut butter dessert. Tiffany, our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even though it was a cooler evening, they had blankets and heaters which really made a difference. And not to mention the beautiful view we had of City Hall. Would definitely go again
