Best dessert in La.. hands down. service is amazing, the owner is actively working which is really nice to see. The owner has been working here for a couple years, and treats my family with so much respect. Always gives stuff as service and creates the best crafted Korean desserts. The strawberry bingsoo is a classic and it's a creamy, milky, and sweet. The fish bread are my absolute favorite. The custard is steaming hot where the breading is so crispy and has a mochi-like texture. Please support this business! The owner deserves all the hype!

Everything was delicious! I got the Black Sesame and Sweet Pumpkin shaved ice. The portions were just right. Any bigger and it would be too much. Wow. Im impressed. So unique and new to me. I also got the Taiyaki fishies with Nutella and bananas and custard. You get to select two flavors. :) So delicious. Friendly service, the place was clean and the place was POPPIN. I'll definitely be back. Definitely worth a try.

We came to came to Anko at around Thursday at around 8 PM. There is street parking available but we had to circle a few times before we could find anything. It was pretty busy, but we were able to get a table eventually. You order at the counter and pick up the food from there, and the interior is very clean with a decent amount of seating! The mango bingsu was pretty good and is exactly what you expect. It's not a huge portion, but the mango itself was fresh and tasty. The only thing to note is the mango flavor only comes from the syrup so it was a bit milky, but it still hit the spot. The taiyaki was super fresh! It was nice and crispy on the outside and very fluffy on the inside. There wasn't a ton of filling in the custard one, but the Nutella and banana flavor was delicious! Overall Anko is a decent dessert cafe in LA. It's definitely not the cheapest prices for the portion, but it's open decently late and is a nice spot to split dessert after a meal!

Cute ambiance and yummy desserts to try out. Got the Oreo shave iced , it was a bit on the sweeter side. But the pomegranate lemonade drink I ordered helps balance it out. The only problem is valet parking because you don't stay that long. But I think it will work with groups of friends. Will come back to try other items.

Korean style shave ice! Very yummy and unique. Their shave ice has the sauce almost like a blended shave ice so each bite is sweet and delicious! No need for extra sauce.

Cute place with typical delicious Korean sweets. Would definitely recommend. It seemed like a popular spot.

4 stars purely because of the taiyaki. This was soooo good. We got two flavors: custard and Nutella. Personally I loved the custard one more but my friend loved the Nutella more. It was perfectly crispy and chewy and so fresh. We also got the black sesame shaved ice and honestly I wasn't a fan. I usually love shaved ice and hate taiyaki but this place had the opposite effect on me. The shaved ice was very mediocre. It had very little taste to it. I would come back for the taiyaki again.

Stopped by for dessert! Got the black sesame shaved ice. It came topped with red bean and mochi pieces with some extra black sesame in condensed milk. It actually took a while to get, but worth it. The shaved ice was very fine with condensed milk, almonds and black sesame interspersed. Nice and delicately sweet. We came close to closing time 10p and still quite a bit of people hanging out with their desserts.

Honestly, the taiyaki here is the best I've ever tasted! It nails the perfect texture balance, with a crispy exterior that gives way to a wonderfully chewy inside. And the red bean filling? Absolutely flawless every time. There's nothing like enjoying it fresh – that's when it truly shines. My only wish is for them to invest in more taiyaki makers to cut down the wait time during busy hours.

Came in right when they opened at 2pm. Ordered the black sesame and grain shaved ice. Both were very delicious. Prices were decent for the portions. Great customer service. Highly recommended!

I've tried several bingsoo spots, but Anko is my favorite! I got the mango one and I really tasted the mango flavor in the shaved ice. The shaved ice was also very fine and smooth. It was so good I'm definitely coming back to try the other flavors.

BEST SHAVED ICE EVER! My friends and I came here and were initially a little off put by the price. It is fairly expensive for shaved ice, especially since the serving size seems to be smaller than other shaved ice places in the area like Oakobing. Also, there was a large group order ahead of us, so the lady working warned us that our order would take thirty minutes or so. We decided to wait for the shaved ice, and I am glad that we did! The shaved ice quality was AMAZING; the syrup was layered with the ice, and the ice itself was extremely milky and creamy, almost like ice cream. It felt like you were eating the lightest, freshest ice cream but without all the fattiness that leaves you feeling heavy afterwards. Everyone in my group said that Anko is definitely the BEST shaved ice in Koreatown, and, believe me, we've tried them all. :)

Ordered the mango shaved ice and custard taiyaki and although the group was overstuffed with dinner, we finished every last bite of the dessert. Mango might not be in season but the shaved ice mango was so sweet and tart it really hit the spot. The taiyaki also was perfectly crispy with a mochi like batter on the inside plus lava-like custard inside... I highly recommend coming here for dessert!
