It's definitely good. The only problem is that our drinks have been wrong both times we've ordered from Postmates. I love the mini cornbread! The Mac n cheese is felt needed a bit more sharp cheddar for that extra kick, like Roscoe's. Everything else was delicious.

I hate to give this place such a low rating because the first time I went, it was delicious. They also had a brick and mortar. So apparently, I missed the memo when they moved to the shared kitchen or restaurant idea. It was further than the Fairfax location. The parking is non-existent. Some people had to park in the middle divider. However, my rating is strictly the food. I ordered the catfish a la carte, the chicken plate with mac and cheese, and greens as a side. I was so hungry, so I started eating in the car. Nothing was hot, barely warm. The catfish had good flavor but needed to be hot. Also the pieces were tiny, definitely not worth $8. The chicken felt like chicken that you get from the grocery store that has been sitting out. Dry. Overcooked. Actually, thinking about it, I have had better chicken at the grocery store smh.. The greens and Mac were good again, not hot. Honestly, I only finished my corn muffins,mac and cheese, and catfish. And that is because I was so hungry. I really was excited about this place unfortunately I was beyond disappointed.

I usually like this place, but I made an order on Uber Eats today at 1:47pm. It's now 3:47 and my food hasn't even been picked up. It says I can expect it at 4:10pm oops just got extended to 4:15pm. I get having a delay but 3 hours? That's insane. Understand your capabilities and turn the app off when your overloaded. You wasted my day when all I wanted was Sunday dinner. Happy Easter.

I mean, it was just awful. Food was cold. Chicken had no seasoning, was dry and had very little meat on its bones, fried cabbage was way too salty. It was a DoorDash order, so maybe that had something to do with it. But if you're looking to spend 40 bucks on a Saturday night, buyer, beware.

Me and my boyfriend ordered take out and WOW! So damn good. We ordered the Nashville honey hot I believe and Hennessey chicken.. SO GOOD. It was the corn bread that seal the deal for me.. i'm a macaroni and cheese girl. I was a little disappointed in the macaroni and cheese. Overall good 8/10

Annie's Soul Delicious is truly delicious! No lies told in the name! They get the award for the best soul food in Cali!!! I got four dinners today and everyone agrees the food is FIRE, I came all the way from LB and I wasn't disappointed, 11/10!!! I met the cook and she was so nice and warm! I can't wait to go back! They really get it when it comes to great flavor, those short ribs are super tender and flavorful. Mac, yams and dressing were all on point! I have nothing bad to say. I can't believe I finally found a soul food place that I love in Cali

If I could give this place 0 zero stars I would. We took a trip up plus minute Uber for a restaurant listed in Yelp that said it was open on a Wednesday at 6pm and low and behold it was closed and boarded up. Do better! It is unacceptable to not keep your business hours up to date!
Not the best, the chicken was over cooked and the flavor was inconsistent. The rice was also over cooked and mushy. The corn bread was good, the greens were not bad. The Mac and cheese was ok a little salty as if you were trying to use the salt for flavor. The fried okra over cooked and packaged poorly! Maybe I caught you all on a bad day… ??♀️ I would not recommend.

This was our first time visiting this food place and we were wow’d by how much of a phenomenal service in which we received. The owner is very hands on, very personable, and made sure everyone was happily satisfied upon leaving! We were even greeted with welcome drinks as first time customers. I would definitely recommend to others!
