Are you willing to work for your food? Are you willing to wait in a long line? If the answer is yes then please take the time to try Apollonia's. Their hours are strange and they are cash only in the restaurant but it's worth it.This is best thin slice pizza I have had in California. They also have incredible Detroit style slices. The pepperoni vodka slice is a must try.Very little parking.Parking: Very little parking. Small lot that is always full.

Definitely up there as one of the best pizzas in Los Angeles! We ordered a 20" Pepperoni, Hot Honey and Burrata round thin crust ?. It was absolutely delicious even after a 45 minute drive home and reheating in the microwave. The sauce is delicious l, the Burrata and the hot honey were a fantastic edition to the pizza.A few things to be prepared for before coming here;1) Be prepared to wait especially if you come during a busy time. It was my first time going there, and not sure if you can call ahead and order but I think I saw some people that had done that while I was waiting. It took me about 50 minutes to get my pizza that I ordered at about 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon.2) It is cash only! So make sure you come with that cash in hand. That's it! Definitely try it! It's a great New York style pizza! Down to try their other square pies and other dishes in the near future!

Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and by far the best in LA.Round, thin-crust pizzas are excellent, but the square pizzas are really special. The square pepperoni is always our go-to.Thick-crust pizza usually leaves me feeling somewhat unwell, but Apollonia's pizza is always fresh and filling without being overly heavy. Tastes like quality ingredients.Staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a small area inside to stand and eat, but the space can get very busy. I always get takeout. Hancock Park next to LACMA is nearby and is a great spot to picnic.Best to order pizza ahead during peak times like weekends if you want to avoid standing in line for a while.Remember to bring cash.

I got the square slice of the vodka and pepperoni. The vodka slice was better. The pepperoni was undercooked where it’s not crispy and the edges aren’t rounded up. The under carriage was too well done. Your jaw will hurt if you aren’t strong enough. I prefer a balance of doughy and well done. I will give them place one more try with a whole pie of cheese NY style.

Small hole in the wall with amazing square slices. Hot honey and burrata with pepperoni is the best. Tall dude at register was very friendly, chatted about Rolex watches while waiting for our

I had a pepperoni burrata and mike's hot honey slice, plain cheese slice and the squared slice I dont remember. Both pepperoni and cheese were very tasty. Crust had a nice bite and was soft at the same time. Very flavorful, the cheese, tomato sauce and crust ratio was great. (I am a fan of thin pizza.) The honey and pepperoni combo was good, didn't really get the hot part. The squared slice, I wasnt able to eat right away so can't say, but its more of a deep dish style, very thick and crunchy crust. Dark bits are crispy cheese. Onion, prosciutto and garlic.Opted for slices since oredering a pie is approx 1hr wait time.Glutenfree options.Parking lot is small.Line to order moves quickly.Customer service is great!Communication is concise.Definitely will return for a whole pie.

A small business that has perfected the art of making pizza. I ordered a regular thin slice cheese pizza as well as a square pepperoni with spicy honey and the square with vodka sauce, and they were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, but it's important to note that they close early in the afternoon, so be sure to check their hours of operation. Additionally, there is no seating available, so you will have to stand while you eat.

The pizza is SO GOOD, five stars no question have had it many times, never disappoints. But man, the service/operations need some work. I ordered ahead of time, was told 6:05 pick up, only to be told to wait at least 40 mins in a long line to pay and then get my pizza? What’s the point of taking orders ahead of time?
