Great spot for a simple sushi meal before a game or event at Staples. Service is fast and the fish is good quality. I recommend their simple cut rolls- scallop, salmon, and tuna were all good.

Solid place for sushi rolls or a chicken bowl. I enjoyed my rainbow roll and some edamame. Not busy at all during this particular lunch hour. Fast service and attentive. Clean. Not very expensive for the area. Plan to spend $20 -$25 here for a decent amount of food.

I happened to stop by before the Clippers game and I was so satisfied that I am leaving a review..!! I didn't know it was possible to eat such high quality sushi in the US, but it was even better than the one I had in Korea!! The rolls were thicker than the ones I had in Korea, and the fries were so crispy that I liked the cuts haha. You can eat a roll for less than the price of a beer in a basketball stadium. Highly recommended to go before watching basketball?

One of my favorite sushi spots in DTLA, excellent customer service and quality fish.Love the uni qualiy & I usually get their Garlic Albacore, Truffle Salmon, Seaweed salad. I highly recommend the hot sake or milky sake in a bottle and also their baked blue crab hand roll. The galbi bowl, sweet shrimp, miso soup, uni sushi, fatty tuna & Alaskan baked salmon roll were all phenomenal.

The food is delicious, the price seems reasonable in downtown.Waitresses are nice, and will refill your water without have to ask them to.The place is clean, you can eat in the bar seats or just normal seats. Just pick the one that you feel the most comfortable one.

It's good! I like coming here for lunch when I don't have much time. My favorite is the hot night roll. It's pretty big and tasty. Service has been pretty quick both times I've gone. It's usually low key and the waiters rotate between three people that do their job. I wouldn't say there is a ton of love for the craft or anything here, but if you want a place to grab a quick bite this is a good spot!Ashley is a great server

It's our go to sushi place in DTLA! It's been one of constants in this area around LA Live. Sushi is always fresh and service is exceptional. I like the new happy hour menu that features salmon or yellowtail Kama at happy hour prices. It will take about 15-20 minutes to prepare, but it's worth the wait. For dessert I'm hooked on the macaroon ice cream.

Arashi Sushi on Hope Street is my lunchtime happy place, and I've clocked in two visits already which left me smiling! I've been here twice now, and each time it's a special treat! It's about two blocks and a good walk from my office and will soon become a go-to lunch spot for special celebrations! For an hour lunch, the team members here are friendly and efficient. They are the real MVPs- friendly, quick, and always can answer any question you have about the menu. You don't have to wait very long for your food, which makes the lunch rush feel manageable. I appreciate the variety on the menu and the sushi has been consistently fresh. The Albacore Special Roll is one of my favorites, especially with the magically crispy topping they put on it. It's a great place to order sushi rolls to share and it's been a delight to see what they bring out. The Chirashi Bowl lunch time special is a great deal for a great portion. I couldn't stuff my face with all of it but it kept me full the rest of the busy day. Thanks for a good time Arashi Sushi. Keep the sushi magic alive, and I'll keep rolling back here for more good times!

Very good understated sushi experience. Enjoyed everything we had. The appetizers with spicy/yellowtail tuna on Crispy rice were fantastic and could’ve been an entire meal on their own.

Pretty good and the prices were fair. The only downside was that the crispy rice was burnt, and was difficult to bite into as a result. The albacore was delicious as was the sauce and onions on top. Niche criticism here potentially, but there was a bit too much spicy tuna on top of the crispy rice as well for my liking, threw off the ratio. But still was good overall.
